For close to 50 years, pets have been part of my life. Beginning with a pet rat (really!), a hamster, and pet mice, then moving on to cats, and dogs, I've had a love affair with animals. My husband and I also volunteered and raised and trained Guide Dog puppies, and my profile photo was taken at a walk-a-thon with two of our graduated puppies. We've rescued thin-and-bone Dobies, and always adopt our animals from shelters. Your pet will be well taken care of and enjoy fun time with Leda Mae and Dexter. My two cats - Puck and Bratt - are accustomed to dogs running in and out of the house. Pool fun is also available, and as a telecommuter, I am always home. We start our day with a breakfast around 5 AM, then a run through the sprinkler and a game of catch. We come in and relax while mom is working, take a few quick pottie breaks, and then enjoy an afternoon swim, with mom trying to convince Leda that her fur will NOT make her sink - and of course we have to play more catch! Dinnertime is around 4:30 - 5 PM, with a short walk when the sun starts to go down, and bedtime is usually around 10 PM.
