Experienced, Reliable Rover Sitters

Pet care experience

Go ahead and book those travel plans, knowing your pandemic puppy or life long pal will be having fun at our place! Dogs in our care are part of our pack - we love them all. As a pet parent myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your furry littles with someone you trust. I am pleased to offer in-home care to pets of all varieties. I worked in animal care professionally for 5 years, with 2 additional years of volunteer experience, and I've been a 5-Star Rover sitter for over 6 years. I am a work-at-home mom. Your loved one won't need to be alone for more than 4 hours at a time. Near constant supervision allows lots of potty breaks, walks or time to administer medication as needed. Your fun-loving dog won't go without while they are here! Fenced back yard allows romps with resident dog Izzy, as well as quick potty breaks. A great neighborhood for walks, we love to visit local parks and dog parks as appropriate. Near-by Bunker Hill Park Island allows for forest adventures. I specialize in providing care for elderly or infirm pets who need extra TLC. I understand the stress and difficulty of leaving your special needs pet, even for a night. When you book with us, you get the comfort of knowing an experienced animal care professional is watching your beloved friend. I have experience with senior dogs as well as animals with complicated medical needs. No need to worry about sensitively timed medications or needed injections. Whatever stage of life they may be at, know I am able to provide quality, loving care in my home. **Please contact me for special rates for high-needs pets: those requiring more than 2 medicines per day, those requiring injections, or post-op pets (less than 12 days post operation). Unfortunately, we cannot accept dogs with a bite history, separation anxiety or dogs who display any kind of guarding behavior.

Information Mandie & Logan W. would like to know about your pet

Does your dog need a little extra TLC? No problem! We're happy to watch your dog with medical issues, senior pets or those needing medication. If your pet requires medication more than twice per day or requires injections please contact me for special rates. High energy dogs will be treated to fetch, trips to the dog park and can even come hiking. Your puppy is welcome, with outside potty breaks available every 3-4 hours. If your dog has separation anxiety with consistent barking or if he or she can be destructive when left alone, we might not be the best environment for them. We want everyone to be safe and healthy during their stay, so we ask that your dog be up-to-date on all vaccines, current on flea preventative (natural is totally fine), and have had a check-up at the vet in the last year. Our posted rate is for 24 hours, but we are happy to pro-rate for an extra 12 hours of care to give you more flexibility- and a few more hours on the beach! We're also happy arrange drop-off and pick up between 7:30 am and 8:00 pm. Earlier or later times may require an overnight stay. We “blackout” drop offs or pick ups on Thanksgiving day, Easter, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and 12pm New Years Eve- 12pm New Year’s Day. We are available for pet sitting those days but cannot support transition on those days.
