I have had 3 dogs, a boxer, a rottweiler/lab mix, and a basset hound, all ranging from mild/relaxed temperament to hyper mutts with stubborn attitudes that required lots of exercise.
I have also fostered pit bulls with Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue.
I have experience with old and sick dogs and thus have experience administering medications to dogs. I have experience caring for diabetic dogs, dogs with cancer, seizures, arthritis, separation anxiety, leash aggression and neurological disorders.
I am the official dog sitter for my friends. I love dogs and enjoy seeing them happy. I treat my dogs like people; they are allowed to jump in bed with me and cuddle on the couch. I take my dogs hiking and camping with me.
A plus, I like to run and would also happily take your dog on a run if you wish!
Here is what you can expect of me when I dog sit for you:
If am I sitting at your home I will treat your home like my home.
I will be clean in your home.
I will respect your wishes.
I will be easy to get a hold of.
I will send you daily status updates with pictures.
I will walk your dog at least 3 times a day, for no less than 20 minutes per walk.
I will play with your dog.
I will cuddle with your dog.
I will treat and love your dog as if it was my own.
I will administer medications if required.
Is your dog really hyper? I will even run your dog if you ask me to!
Please be open and honest with me about your dog so that I can be prepared to appropriately care for your dog. I am really laid back and have seen/dealt with it all, so nothing phases me.
Please also provide a crate if I am sitting for your dog in my home as the dog will need to be crated if I am not home.
