Avid dog lover who believes every dog should get the best treatment possible. I treat every dog as if they were my own and I am diligent about following any routine a dog owner has outlined. Fresh air is great for dogs and I am happy to take your dog(s) out on walks or hikes. I love all dogs of any size and breed! Call to set up a meet and greet or message me if you have any questions! Volunteer experience: MSPCA- Angell, LRR (Labrador Retriever Rescue), MaxFund, & Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue. Administration of injected medication: I have experience administering insulin shots for dogs. I take diligent notes and ask ample questions about medication regimens. I’ve also completed K9 CPR and first aid training.

I'd also like to know if the dog has any allergies, how many times the dog needs to go out a day, and feeding regimes. Does the dog bark if I have to leave the house to run errands? Is the dog friendly with other dogs? Does your dog like peanut butter? I always give the dogs I watch frozen peanut butter kongs when they come stay!
A typical day
Depending on the breed, I love taking dogs on hikes around the area. I like to explore new trails and having a dog to watch is the perfect excuse to spend a beautiful day hiking! I also like to arrange dog play dates depending on how friendly the dog I watch is. If your dog is staying with me over the weekend, I plan my weekend over fun activities for the dog to do :) I have dog toys, dog bowls, a large dog bed, and a small dog bed at my apartment. No need to bring their bed when they come to stay with me! I also recently signed up to receive BarkBoxes so there will always be new toys for your dog to play with when they come to stay with me!

Availability
I’m working remotely so my schedule allows me to take your dog(s) out as frequently as you need me to. My dogs, Evey and Maisy, go on 2-3 walks per day and also get plenty of ball time. I am happy to adhere to any exercise routine that fits your dog’s needs.
