About Jeremy

24 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I currently work from home so I am always available for unlimited love and attention for your dogs. II have a true passion for animals. I have owned three dogs in my life and they have all meant the world to me. In addition I have always watched various friends and families dogs for over 10 years. I treat them with lots of respect, play with them, walk them and just generally love them with all my heart. I am reliable, friendly, and experienced. I miss my dogs immensely since I moved up here to Boston and would love an opportunity to meet and watch your dogs. Hope to hear from you soon!

Jeremy was amazing with my dog Lily! My dog is a very playful pup and it seemed like everytime I checked the nanny cam Jeremy was playing with her. It is nice that he works from home so he was around alot to take Lily out for walks. I would highly recommend Jeremy! He is a super nice guy also.

My first experience with Dogvacay and Jeremy was awesome! I don't usually write reviews, but I really appreciate finding Jeremy and the good job he did. I had to find someone to take care of my dog at the last minute and thankfully Jeremy was available to help me out. My dog is shy and usually untrusting with new humans, but Jeremy bonded with her immediately (dogs have much better judgement than we do, so if Venus approves, I do). I can tell that he is compassionate and caring towards both dogs and humans-- on our meet and greet he helped me put away my groceries even though the sole purpose of the visit was to meet my dog. Venus was well exercised and well fed when she came back and if I hadn't known that they had just met, I might have thought that they had known each other forever. I would highly recommend Jeremy for his well-mannered, caring rapport with his human clients and his gentle handling of doggy clients.

Jeremy is not worth the trust I placed in him. We read his reviews & spoke with his clients before we gave him the responsibility to watch our 3 fur kids. We gave him our Wi-Fi password and welcomed him to use our home as his own.
He didn't show up when he was supposed to and kept lying when we asked him. We know because after we came back we checked our security log to make sure there were no break-ins when we were away; & found that no door was opened/ closed until almost noon. Early morning is the most important time for pretty much all pets to eat/pee/poop (explained explicitly to him). My 25 lb dog waited until 11:46 am to be taken out. What bothered me most was- Jeremy repeatedly lied about them being fine "when he fed them at 9:30". I called him after we found out and gave him a chance to come clean and instead of admitting to it, he fumbled through all kinds of ridiculous excuses which any adult can clearly see through.
There are other issues too, including the fact that we repeatedly told him to not let Brownie out in the backyard. Not only did he let Brownie out in the backyard, he did not bother picking up the poop. At one point he had opened our basement door but did not bother locking it again.
He might be kind of heart- in fact, the first day was okay from afar and sent me a few pics; he told me if he should be there by 7:30-8am and I told him 8 is more than fine. He said he'll be by early because he's an early riser...something I neither asked for nor responded to. We later saw he had showed up at 9:30 but again I never raised a question or told him anything about it. Punctuality is expected and appreciated but we understand that it happens and let it slide. But noon? And lying?

I have been using DogVacay for a few years now and loved both our previous hosts, but unfortunately since moving here we had to start afresh. I really wanted to like Jeremy, but he let me down badly. In short, I would not trust my kids with him again, nor would I ever recommend him to my friends either via DogVacay or via Rover.

I do have to add that DogVacay has been very responsive to my concerns and I will continue to using them to find delightful kind neighbors who can help watch our pets while we are away.

For our first time leaving our new dog for a week and a half, we wanted someone who would stay at our house with her. I was definitely nervous about finding the right person. But, after our meet and greet with Jeremy, I knew it would be just fine. Jeremy was wonderful with our large dog. It's clear he loves dogs and gets along with them well. He was also very patient and attentive in listening to all of my instructions and in helping me with the Dog Vacay app. When I left on the trip, Jeremy was great about sending texts with pictures of our dog's various adventures. He also was also very conscientious in caring for her (and our house) well while we were gone. He even got out our window AC when an unexpected heat spell came while we were away. I felt really confident in having him care for my fur baby and definitely recommend him in the future.
