About Lora

I walk my dogs two times per day! I love my companion animals as much as one can love them! My animals and I love it when a new dog or cat or bird come to stay! All the dogs sleep with me if allowed at home! I! Only if the pet owner allows that of course! I treat all animals with love and care the way they all should be treated! I also volunteer at many rescues and all my animals are rescues! I also do a pick up and drop off service at a minimal charge and I will petsit all over LA and Orange County! I am certified, insured and bonded and I will have dinner ready for you after traveling a long distance! Who wants to cook after a long plane ride, Right? I charge per day not per night! Your pet will beg to come back to Auntie Lora's house!!!!!

Very sweet
Lora was available for a last minute reservation for my dog, fast and easy booking, no problems, and she even drove to meet me half way to pick up and drop off my girl. Would recommend :)
I hired Lora for three days of doggie daycare for my 9lb chihuahua.
We did a meet and greet at her home in Silverado with my pup and her pups a few days before so I could be certain it would be a good match for my furbaby. Her dogs and mine got along so well right off the bat! (Which is a bit of a surprise since my baby barks at every dog the first time she meets them.) after that I felt comfortable entrusting my baby to Lora.
She was wonderful!!! The first day wth my baby she kept a close eye on her and gave her lots of extra love and attention to help my baby get comfortable in her new surroundings. She even gave her a doggy sweater to wear because it was very cold those days. Lilly was happy and heathy each day I picked her up and I am so pleased to have found Lora!
I highly reccomend her services. She loves animals and is trustworthy and reliable.
Banjo, our 3-year-old Exuberant Aussie recently stayed with Lora for nearly 2 weeks..a long time to leave your dog! Lora's calm & kind demeanor & her obvious affection for pets did a lot to allay our concerns about leaving him in a new situation. Banjo doesn't get along with bigger dogs sometimes; and we wanted to find a host who would agree to only have one guest at a time. So we were relieved that her 2 chihuahuas & her 2 cats were as easy going as Lora herself. Banjo made himself right at home with the same freedoms...Probably More! Ha! I was aware that Lora lived in a beautiful country canyon setting, and that many of the properties there are small with not much yard. Lora's place, though cozy, was well secured and she diligently walked him through the canyon daily..a round trip of 4 miles! We were So appreciative, cause he gets a lot of exercise at home! We kept in touch, Daily at first! Lora sent us pics. of the pets interacting and was always gracious with any questions or concerns & assured us that Banjo was being a very good boy, after a mild admonishment to not "herd" the cat! (We have a cat too, who is also less than approving of his herding skills!) He seemed to enjoy his vacay Very Much! Of course, he was eagerly greeting us when we picked him up & excited to go home, but he still went back to Lora to give her one last smooch! It's good to know that Lora can also stay at a client's home, if they prefer. She is a gem!
Absolutely awesome experience! Lora was able to take care of our dog on a very short notice and did a great job! Biggy came back very energetic and playful..! Lora lives in a quiet and remote neighborhood and her house is just a perfect quiet place
Lora was AMAZING!!! From the moment we met up with her, we could immediately tell she puts her heart into her own animals, therefore that love carries over to any animal she fosters. It was amazing to see how her animals take to having new friends stay with them. Especially her African Grey Parrot. Nothing cooler than seeing my dog and a bird get along!

She was very good about alleviating any jitters we had about leaving him, and assured us that he would be just fine. We realized she was right once we began getting text messages to let us know his progress, and realized that he was enjoying himself while we were away.

Our dog had an ear infection at the time, and Lora made sure to keep up his medication routine while we were away, to ensure that he was on track to make a full recovery.

I think the best part is knowing Lucky had new friends to play and bond with, and a dog sitter that loved him just as much as we do!

I would recommend her to anyone, and will definitely use her services again whenever we need a sitter for Lucky! :)

Lora provided excellent care for our sweet puppy. This is the first time we used DogVacay, and it was so much better than having the dog boarded up in a cage. Lora is an animal lover at heart, and I would 100% use her again.
My Meet-n-Greet with Lora was fantastic. She introduced my timid dog to each of her dogs separately and in a very calm and controlled way. Other hosts I met with allowed their dogs to run at my dog and jump on her, which made her very scared, and Lora was the complete opposite of this. I felt very comfortable keeping my dog with Lora, and when she came home I could tell that Lora gave her lots of cuddly attention that she craves. Lora took the extra care to clean her ears for me as well. Lora feeds each dog separatley, which I really appreciated because my dog has a sensitive stomach and needed to stay on her regular food. I highly recommend her.
Lora really loves animals and she made our dog feel welcome and accommodated his requirements.
