About: I have 2 dogs. One is a senior Shih Tzu and one is a one year old mix. They both get along well with dogs and cats. I have had dogs my whole life and will treat yours as my own.. I work remotely and I'm home most all day. I have 3 kids who also love dogs and cats. I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room to run and play. My dogs love meeting and playing with new friends! I will care for your pet as if they were my own. I am highly attentive, and your pet will have a great time and love being in my care.

“This is how my story started......I was in Roanoke for the Nomad convention at the Sheraton. It is dog friendly & I have my baby w me... she has always traveled well.. but she is now older & she is having separation anxiety when I leave the room! She barks & wont stop! She is a tri color chihuahua ! I can't leave the room & I can't take her to the car show because of the heat! I have never left her .. a bit nervous about doing so.. but thought I would search for Dog Care in area! My story ends in a meet & greet that started a new friendship! Paula was so comforting and reassuring that I wanted to stay with her! I had never left Mia w anyone before! Paula sent me pictures & text about Mia, including one where Mia was a bed hog! About: I grew up with dogs and many cats from the time I was a baby into adulthood and am a lover of all animals. As someone with animals, I will treat your furbabies like they are family! I have volunteered at various animal shelters including Angels of Assisi (Roanoke, VA), LASPCA (New Orleans, LA), and Animal Haven (New York, NY) with a total of five years experience. During that time I walked dogs of all ages, cleaned kennels, fostered and got to see some amazing animals find their "furever" homes. I love staying active and fit so I am absolutely able to take more energetic/active/young dogs on walks to get out all of that stored energy! I work from home/remote with a flexible schedule so I’m able to drop what I’m doing to care for your furry family member. If you end up scheduling me for doggy day care, I live across the street from Highland Park and will take your dog on walks and to play in the dog park! Ultimately I love animals and can't wait to meet you and your pet! I work remotely and have a flexible schedule. My calendar reflects by full availability and I am always keeping it up to date. Take a look! I cannot host dogs overnight but am happy to do doggy daycare but I have experience with overnight stays! I am an earlier riser and will make sure your fur babies are fed and walked first thing in the morning. I always clean up after myself and make sure I leave your home spotless and your fur babies cared for.

About: I am a lover of animals! As someone who travels as well I know how it can feel to leave your fur babies so it is important that there is communication and love for them while you are gone! My goal is to make you feel secure leaving for a day, a weekend or more and come back seamlessly! I am a teacher of 15 years however am taking a year off a using Rover as my go to! So I am available for early morning visits, mid afternoon and evening. My weekend availability varies due to my own traveling. Good news is summer will be wide open! Also prices are subject to adjustment based on mileage to per owner location. New clients to Rover ask me about my discount code! I have two super friendly and energetic dogs for those interested in dog boarding (I can take up to one dog at a time but unfortunately no cats 🐈). My pets are like my children so I am very protective and attentive to them. You will receive updates on all visits and photos!

I felt completely comfortable leaving him in her care, and I think he was sad to leave her when we picked him up eight hours later. About: I have had dogs for many years- I grew up with a shih tzu who turned into a little old lady and I am familiar with dogs that need special attention or medications. Now my husband Cody and I have the sweetest cavalier king charles spaniel (Malcolm!) and have experience with taking care of puppies and dogs that are full of energy. I am a medical student who has a hybrid schedule of in person learning and at home self-study. Cody works from home and loves spending time with Malcolm or any Rover friends that come visit. I have house that has a large fenced-in yard, and we frequent the Greenway in case your dog who prefers longer walks! We have no children in the house. My dog Malcolm is very friendly, and dogs are welcome on our furniture.
