Hi, thanks for choosing Positive Pup boarding and daycare. I have been an animal lover since I was young and when I was old enough I started volunteering in animals shelters and wanted to learn more, so I went to the University of Guelph for animal biology. From there I started working at a large animal daycare working with a variety of different pets with lots of different needs. That gave me lots of experience for my now job as a vet assistant/tec for service dogs!
In my home there is always at least one foster puppy in training and occasionally a second for babysitting. My expertise is with young pups ranging from 6.5 weeks to a year, but I am happy to watch dogs of all ages. With that said, please ensure your furry friend is ok with a young pup as for some older dogs it can be overwhelming, but a great playmate for others!
A normal day in my household would begin with a quick 15 minute walk before heading to work, where they will either by kenneled alone or with my foster. At lunch they will get at least a half hour play with other pet and service dogs and in the evening they will enjoy a hour long walk through the trails.
With a young foster puppy in my house, doggy manners are my top priority, so your dog will return home on its best behaviour! If you have any skills/behaviours you would like worked on please let me know.
