Hi, I'm Brandi. I'm a registered nurse and lifelong animal lover. I have two dogs, Marina and Duncan, and dog-loving cat Mo. We would love to host feline-friendly dogs at our one-story ranch house with large fenced yard. Special diets and medications are no problem. I am able to provide round-the-clock supervision on weekends but M-F your dog must be able to be left alone with my pets or in a crate while I am at work. Weekday drop-off times must typically occur by 7:30am, but some days I'm able to be more flexible due to a slightly irregular work schedule. Weeknight pickups must occur by 5pm or later. Saturdays and Sundays are extremely flexible for drop-off and pick-up.
If your dog is a breed with a high prey drive (ie. Siberian husky, Alaskan malamute, Jack Russell terrier, greyhound, coonhound, whippet, saluki, Akita, doberman pinscher, chow chow, rottweiler, pit bull terrier), please consider a boarding situation without cats unless you know for certain that your dog does not chase them. I will consider these breeds on a case-by-case basis and will require a meet-and-greet. My cat is calm and friendly to most dogs who behave likewise, but has become stressed around some of the aforementioned breeds. He does well with herding breeds such as border collies and Australian cattle dogs.
I am happy to care for puppies and senior dogs as long as they have good bowel/bladder control or are able to be crated while I am gone.
