Pet care experience
I am a professional in my late 20's. I live in Charlestown near the Bunker Hill Monument, and work for an architecture firm in Downtown Boston. I am a very relaxed, and caring individual who invites you to let your four legged family member spend a night or two (or more) in my 730sqft home. I do not have any pets of my own which will allow me to give your pet 100% of my attention when he/she is in my care. I am completely flexible to your dog's routine and likes/dislikes. I can take him/her out on walks (long or short), play here at home, or just cuddle and keep each other company. Pet sitting is all about your pet, and your pet's needs. I am quite easy going, and adaptable regarding the care of your dog. To date, I have been able to find ways to cater to any specific needs pets may have while in my care. Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover my entire life, and well dogs are especially great as they easily go from cuddly companion to enthusiastic playmate. Growing up I was surrounded by friends with service dogs. I understand how to interact with dogs on their level, and treat them responsibly. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering oral medication, and have done so with a few of the dogs under my care.

This was our first time using rover.com. My wife and I went out of town on vacation for a week and there were a couple of days that family/friends couldn't watch our 9 month old cockapoo. Found Michael on the site. His response was quick and we were able to arrange a site visit. Michael lives just a couple streets over from us in Charlestown. He was very accommodating with arranging for the different people we had dropping her off and picking her up. Overall we were very pleased with Michael and would love to use him again. He sent us updated and photos through her stay. He seemed to do a great job making our puppy feel at home. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Michael & rover.com!!!

I would like to know whether your dog is active, or calm. Are there any specific routines your dog follows which would help make them more comfortable when you're away? I basically just want to make sure I can say with confidence that I can provide your dog with the best experience possible while you're away.
A typical day
I will take your dog on long and short walks around Charlestown. There are multiple side streets, and parks for us to explore together. I have found that many dogs enjoy running around the grass at the Bunker Hill Monument. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Wherever he/she wishes too. I've had dogs hop up in bed with me, make themselves comfortable with a few blankets on the floor, or claim the couch for their stay. We can discuss your dog's specific sleep preferences so that I can ensure you dog is able to sleep peacefully in my care. Time I'll spend with your dog I will make my best attempt to spend as much time as possible with your pet while in my care. I do work a 9-5 M-F job, but am able to make it home at least once during the day for a lunch time walk if it fits within your dog's routine. While hosting your dog we'll play around my home, go on walks around the Charlestown Navy Yard and surrounding parks, and just hangout on the couch watching some TV. I can be quite flexible regarding your pet's care, and want to make sure I am delivering the best care possible.
