About Linda

16 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I have a very sweet and playful American Staffordshire Terrier who will be your dog's bff. I live right by prospect park so will take them out twice a day for a good run around. My dog, Laila gets top notch treatment so she is a very good girl and we would love to share the same treatment with your poochie! Laila is very good with unsettled dogs and I will introduce them safely. If you need 24/7 supervision, let me know. I will be home most of the time.

I have a 1000sq foot apt so they have plenty of space to get to know each other.

Linda is what I would call a dedicated doggy person. Dogs are a huge part of her life and a couple of years ago she relocated to be near Prospect Park just so she could walk her dog Laila there every day. The two of them are a regular feature of the whole park and particularly the dog beach. Laila had a phobia of water before her and Linda moved but now she loves the water. The dog walking community in Prospect Park is large and Linda and Laila are a vital part of that community.
Linda would be an asset to Dogvacay. I first met her when she had been let down by a dog sitter a few days before she was travelling to Australia for three weeks to visit her family. I was able to step in and sit Laila and all three of us have remained firm friends ever since.
Linda is honest and trustworthy and I would feel more than happy to place any dog in her care for any period of time. She cares about dogs and treats them as family members, respecting their routines and life-styles as if they were one of her own. She will make a fantastic host for dogvacay and I am certain she will quickly become a popular and reliable member.
I have no hesitation whatsoever in whole-heartedly recommending her as a sitter.

I've spent a lot of time with Linda and her dog Laila. We are friends, and live in the same neighborhood, we've spent time at the dog park, and Prospect Park in Brooklyn together. Linda is kind, her dog is well-trained, she's very tuned in to the needs of her dogs and the other dogs I've seen her encounter. Her dog is well-cared for and I know that she would care for other peoples animals with the same level of care. She takes her dog to the park daily for a significant time so she can run and play and thinks about the dietary needs of her dog as well. She's a great care-taker and and would be a lovely person to work with and trust your animal with.

Linda, or "Saint Linda" as we started calling her is a true dog person. She understands dog psychology and how to deal with challenging situations. She is a calm and confident leader to her own dog, Laila, which made us feel comfortable about leaving our elderly dog in her care.

Our dog has special needs and required nearly 24/7 supervision. Linda patiently tended to him and had strategies to deal with his particular quirks. She stayed in touch with frequent updates. When we picked him up, he was calm and happy.

Although our dog would be considered a special needs case, check her out for your "regular" dog, too. She and Laila just might be the perfect match!
