About Devin

I live in the most dog-friendly neighborhood in Syracuse. I have a nice backyard, and a young Wheaten Terrier who LOVES playmates. We have an endless supply of beef hides and ice-cubes, and I always throw in some light clicker training when giving Omi (my pup) any treats or toys.

Alex was great! Mowgli got along really well with his dog, Mooshu, and I felt good leaving him with Alex knowing that he was getting exercise throughout the weekend. (They went on a run.) I'm usually nervous about leaving my dog with other people, but I wouldn't hesitate leaving Mowgli with Alex again.

The host was able to tell us how our dog was doing when we called him during our trip to Washington D.C. He was also kind enough to email us the pictures of our dog and his. He was flexible in terms of the pick-up time (6:30 p.m.)
As the house dog is a Wheaten Terrier and ours is a Welsh Terrier, they are both about one-year-old and tend to be very active & energetic. Therefore, they played rough as reported by the host.
After we picked up our dog, we noticed bite marks and dried up scares in our dog's belly which the host claimed not to his knowledge.
From this experience, we will think twice if we should place our dog to a host family with a puppy or fairly young dog.
