Pets are family
Pet care experience
We believe that pets are children and want you to feel like this is a safe place while you are away. Together we have been caring for pets for 10+ years. We live on 0.5 acres of fenced land for them to roam at leisure. All animals have will have boundararies such as baby gates and a doggy door that can be closed so that nobody feels overwhelmed. We also have a large crate if your dog feels comfortable that way and a room downstairs that is quiet and cool for them to relax. In the summer, we have wading pools and always many toys,
Reviews
I boarded my dog at Elicia's for two weeks. She greeted me enthusiastically when I picked her up, but she had yellow gunk in both eyes, which she has never had before, and despite eye drops, this has still not yet cleared up so she must be taken to the vet. When I dropped her off, she was fully trained, happy and playful, and hadn't had an accident in the house in over six months, but she pooed in my house. Her behavior is completely off, she is not active and acts insecure, like she had a bad experience there. I've had her at another dogsitter for nearly four weeks last summer and she was happy, energetic and healthy in every way, fully toilet trained when she came home, and enthusiastic, like she'd had a wonderful vacation. This time she acts as if she was betrayed and she is even reluctant to go in her yard. She just rolls up in a ball in the corner now. Elicia and her husband were nice people and the house and yard seemed nice and Elsie (my dog) got along with the other dogs, so this doesn't make any sense. I don't know what happened. She lost weight, too, but that alone wouldn't be a concern because she can be demanding with food, and at least Elicia texted me about that, which is why I didn't score her any lower, because at least I know she cared. It's the combination of all of it that indicates something was wrong. My dog acts listless and just rolls up in a ball, not playful at all. I did not receive regular communication from Elicia, either. Maybe the vet can find out what's wrong with her, maybe she picked up some sort of illness from Elicia or one of the other dogs. It seems to me it was a real bad idea for Elicia to have my dog in her bed when she was sick. This didn't work out very well at all.
Murphy had a great time...I think he is missing his friends already!! We appreciated all the photos, videos, and updates.
So glad to have found someone reliable and nearby! I would recommend Elisha to everyone!
We booked Boston's stay simply based on the current reviews. We were beyond pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Elicia's place. They have a beautiful clean home with a huge fenced in back yard with plenty of space to run and play. Elicia's fiancé greeted us at our drop off. He was very friendly and after chatting for just a min or two we knew Boston was going to be fine. They both really love dogs and it was so evident that our Boston was going to get lots of love and be cared for just like we would care for him. I received tons of pictures and videos keeping me updated on all that was going on. He already can't wait to go back!!

Information Elicia T. would like to know about your pet
We would like to know temperment of dog before hand since we have our dogs in the house (they accept everyone). We need to know if you require your pet to be crated or if they are allowed to be free range. We also need to know feeding schedules and will feed separately from our group to ensure your pet has an unintterupted meal
A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood, field trips to the local dog park, romps in the nearby lake, wading pools, and toys a plenty. Plenty of play time but also relaxation in the sun in one of the deck beds or out in the grass. Your pets will have lots of love
