Hi, I'm Courtney, and I can't walk past a dog without squealing and needing to pet it and give it love. I raised my own best friend Casey for 17 years back home in PA and know what it's like to care for and treat a dog like a family member - because they are one! Also, I grew up pet-sitting for family friends and have assisted friends locally in LA with both house and pet-sitting, since relocating here 5 years ago. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment in Mid-City, no roommates, in a gated, secure complex with 17 other apartments. Adjacent to my building is a front lawn and residential mansion district with quiet sidewalks and a respite from busy city streets and traffic. Thank you for considering me as a host to your beloved animal, and if selected, I will give the greatest care possible to your perfect pup!

Courtney has been an amazing caregiver. She goes above and beyond with the pups, throwing them birthday parties, making sure they are fed & walked and are LOVED like her own. She is trustworthy and responsible.

Courtney has looked after my 3 cats (and home) on several occasions and I am always grateful to know they are in the best care when I have to go away. She is so kind and loving towards animals, responsible, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!
Courtney was awesome! She helped out last minute after a sitter we booked outside of dogvacay cancelled last minute only a few days before we were going away on vacation for a whole week and over a holiday for that matter. She stayed overnight at our house and watched our pom who is a little on the older side and has some special needs. It went great. Haha my dog would have "yelled" at me when I got home if it hadn't so I know for sure.

I have experience with crate-trained dogs and am always on high-alert for open doors or small items on the floor. Pet safety is paramount, and I do not mind them on my furniture or sleeping with me in my home.

It’s important to know of any medications or health issues and their emergency vet info. Knowing any special requests or notice of their temperament and training level is great.
A typical day
I don't shy from puppy affection (in fact, I encourage it) and could play on the floor or cuddle on the couch all day, depending on the mood of the pet. I'm totally welcoming to lap dogs and those allowed to sleep in the owner's bed. I'd love to take active dogs to the local LA dog parks and accommodate whatever request the owners have!
