My first time using dog vacay. Nothing really to compare it to, will be trying g someone else next time though.
She was really nice and our dogs seemed to enjoy their stay with her!
I had a very bad experience with Allison- I was very clear with her on which door to take my dogs out of and that the leash was very important. She also knew that my dogs were nervous and although I thought she knew about dogs, she was careless. While is was 2000 miles away, she called to tell me that she had left the FRONT door cracked, hadn't put the leashes on, and my 5 pound chihuahua ran out the door and was missing. She never said she was sorry- just that she was missing. My dog found her way home 24 hours later at 5:30 am. I would never want anyone to go through what I did- I know people make mistakes. But lesson #1 when you watch a new dog (that is already nervous) is don't leave the door open before you leash them and follow the owners instructions. She just seemed very disconnected from the whole situation, and did not seem to care. So glad my dog found her way home since is was 40 degrees out that night.

Alison was very quick to response and accepted my last minute reservation without any hesitation! I dropped my dogs off for day care 3 days in a row and my dogs seemed excited every time we pulled up to her home!
Alison was a wonderful host. She took our dog in with open arms. She even sent us a picture and informed us our dog was doing great. Highly recommend Alison and definitely will be using her dog services next time we go away!! :)
My dog Claire has stayed with Alison twice now and she is typically a nervous dog if she doesn't like her environment. But after dropping her off the second time and Claire walked right in, I knew it was a great experience for her. As well as Alison kept me updated with photos and showed me that Claire was eating. She doesn't eat if she is unhappy.
