If you choose to use our pet boarding services, we will walk, fetch, and practice some basic ability training during visit. There is an understanding present between Human Beings and Canines that is somehow primal, the Alpha, the importance of the pack, the unit. These amazing beings seem to know how to provide service, work, and love given to all they encounter innately. Admiration for these qualities engulfs me.

If you include your favorite brush we will even give him or her a basic grooming session. Every dog will respond positively to respect, honor, and solid leadership. It is indeed exactly what they are always on the lookout for.

My name is Laura, and I've been a pet owner and dog-lover all 30-some-odd years of my life! I recently lost my best friend of 14 years, Miss Sunny Mae, a beautiful and sweet Lab/Greyhound mix. While it's a detrimental loss, to say the least, we lived a wonderful and full life together! In her absence, I want to maintain the presence of, and continue to care for, these beloved creatures. I figured there's no better way to do so, than to provide a helpful service for others, where they can trust their fur-children are being taken excellent care of, while getting my fill of puppy love!!! My preference is to stay in your home with your four-legged loved ones, but I do offer boarding in my apartment home, on a case-by-case basis, ensuring the situation is right for the needs of your little one(s) (i.e. I don't have a ton of space, and no yard, but plenty of access to nearby parks and endless neighborhoods to explore on long walks!). Hello, my name is Chelsea. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Puget Sound. My availability is flexible and I am looking for part time work while in school as well as playtime with animals! I love all animals and have been a dog, cat, bunny, iguana, snake, and guinea pig owner throughout my life. Unfortunately I do not have any pets now so I pet sit instead! I have many years of experience pet sitting and owning animals, especially dogs and cats. I am happy to walk, play, run, cuddle with your pets! I am only on campus part time so your pet will never be left alone longer than four hours at a time. I'm happy to do light training with puppies and give extra care for senior animals. Update: Since the next year of school is academic intensive I will only be available to pet sit for those who live within a ten minute drive of the UPS campus to be able to care for your pets as much as they deserve during the daytime as well.

I'm a college student with years of pet care experience. I absolutely love animals and I have had pets my entire life. I'm a theatre major who does improv and sketch comedy. I'm very responsible and would treat your furry friends as if they were my own pets. I've often been told that I should become a vet because animals tend to like me a lot, and the feeling is definitely mutual. However, I'm not great at science, only snuggles. I've had dogs and cats my entire life and can't imagine my life if I didn't have pets. Hello! My name is Courtney and I own two dogs, a Pomeranian and a German Shepherd, and a cat named Domino. I have owned rabbits, snakes, hamsters, guinea pigs, goats, birds, and fish and have been taking care of animals my whole life.
Currently I am a student at the University of Puget Sound and spend the day in classes, but my evenings are usually pretty free.
I can walk pets, watch pets, feed, bathe, water, and sometimes train pets depending on the situation. I have a car as well so I will be able to take your dogs to a dog park if that is something that they enjoy, or even take them walking in some new locations.

I am an active widow with an online business which I have conducted from home for over 15 years (I am a digital artist) and I have a home in the Proctor district of Tacoma. I have four dogs now: 3 Chihuahuas and a Jack Russell Terrier - but have had as many as six dogs in our home. We often dog sit for our friends and always enjoy it. Our home is fully fenced and secure, with multiple "fail-safe" mechanisms to protect the dogs. Our entire property is enclosed in a 6-8 foot fence with security cameras in many locations. The front and side gates are tall, sturdy, and always locked. I also have a very large dog run which is a kind of jungle gym for our Jack Russell. I've been doing home dogsitting for over 2 years but have additional experience working with a Chihuahua rescue organization rehabilitating and fostering Chihuahuas. My dogs are very accustomed to having new/strange dogs come into their space and are welcoming towards other dogs.

We have had large dogs and small dogs and we like them all. But at this time I will only take small dogs (under 40 pounds) for dogsitting.

We are happy to accept your dog for an overnight stay, however I do need to have a meet and greet for the safety of your dog before the overnight stay. We have 4 dogs and your dog has to get along with all of them, and all of ours with yours. We cannot accept a dog without a meet and greet first. I do a 10-15 minute meet-and-greet in my house/yard, at which time I introduce our own dogs and observe their meeting and do a small temperament assessment for defensive behaviors. I find this really helps avert minor problems and major problems when a dog comes for a longer stay.

I do my own online business from a studio in my own home. I do not have a shortage of attention and affection and practical care that I can lavish on my dog boarders. My goal is to (1) enable the dogparents to leave their dog with complete comfort and not have any anxiety about their trip and (2) provide the visiting dog with the same level of affectionate and attentive care I give my own dogs. What I promise is an environment in which the visiting dog can relax and trust the environment and the human attention so that they are happy every time they visit here.

I want the dog and the human not to experience anxiety from their separation . . . to the extent that is possible. For that purpose, I provide a very personal level of care which includes emotional attention and physical affection and play. I love dogs and give very individual attention to the needs of my boarders.

I have owned dogs and a wide variety of other critters my whole life. I currently am down to our three pups Bobby (our abandonded rescue husky), Vinny (our lab) and and Liaka (our rescue mystery mutt). We also have two Betta fish, Daisy and Zangeef.
I have been a pet sitter since I was 11 caring for dogs, cats, fish, birds, various rodents and reptiles and ferrets. I have rescued and fostered multiple dogs finding them loving forever homes.
I worked for a time in the kennel area of a vet clinic. The hours, unfortunaly, did not work with being a mom if three small (at the time) kiddos. I have experience in dealing with a variety of health issues (age related, allergies, digestive, epilepsy etc) and vastly different personalities. I am calm and caring with all pets. **What to expect**
I am a strong supporter of toys but understand not all dogs love toys. I read the personality first to best determine if a dog needs extra snuggles, we will enjoy walks near the home and treats if its okay!

I grew up in the country on a dairy farm. I have always enjoyed being around animals and grew up with a Samoyed and Rottweilers. Unfortunately, I do not have a home right now that is allowing me to have pets over, but I will gladly visit others homes to pet sit. I feel this is an advantage because it makes the pet feel safe and comfortable knowing it is in its own home. I have recently experienced feelings of entertaining pet care in my future. This is a great way for me to start this endeavour and see if pet care is something that truely sparks my interest. I can honestly say I am an animal lover and I would have so much fun playing with your animals.
