I like to sit pets in their own environment. It is much less stressful for them. Homes don't have to be immaculate, trust me, mine isn't. Just no bugs is all I ask.
I am a homebody. I retired as an emt from the fire department. After 21 years of excitement, I enjoy only excitement brought by dogs & cats, Internet or TV. Lol. Those are my hobbies. My job took a bit of a toll on my body so I am unable to do fast or long walks. I can take to dog parks or play with them in the back yard or in the house. I don't smoke or drink nor use drugs. Pretty boring. I don't like the night life out but will stay up late because I worked nights for years. Unencumbered by kids or a significant other, thank goodness. I am 61 years old and my picture was taken in August, 2015.
I will also sit cats and reptiles, and little furry things. Lol. Contact me at last minute to check my availability.

I do have two pugs who go on sits with me. Two 6 year old, housetrained, dog friendly (after some nose and butt sniffing), males. They are observers, not players. They also like cats. I kennel them if I leave, which isn't often. Enough about me, contact me and tell me what your needs are!

I've watched my parents create something really amazing over the years with their own business, Rain or Shine Pet Care, and have been ready and waiting for my chance to dive-in and continue on with the family business. Nothing is more important to them than building special relationships with their clients, making the pets and pet owners know they are a part of the Rain or Shine family themselves, and I feel the exact same way!

I have always admired and aspired to be as hard-working and loving in all that I do as my parents have shown me to be. Over the past year I expanded the family business to the Ballard area – growing my own furry family with quirky cats, a charismatic labradoodle puppy (recently determined as my spirit animal), bunnies, fish and a gaggle of other critters.

I can promise you that I have been raised to give the same attention, love, and trust that my parents have undoubtedly shown to make sure their clients' loved ones are adorned and properly cared for – it’s in the Schlegel genes!

To tell you a bit about myself – I am 27 years old with a bit of a wanderer’s spirit. I have a background in Human Services and community organizing; I have traveled continents and had the amazing opportunity to spend a year in Australia (incredible!). And now I’m on to my newest exciting adventure – pet sitting!! I’m so excited to be in the South Seattle area and immerse myself in this beautiful community my family holds so close.

I do photography and media editing from home so your pet will get 24/7 supervision. I only take pets from one owner at a time so no worrying about other animals. My condo is two blocks from a great little dog park, and walking distance to a lot of green areas. I also get out to the mountains for hiking quite a bit, let me know if your pup would be up for that. Unfortunately I cannot take Pitbulls or XXL breeds in my building but I might be able to watch them in yours if it works with my schedule.

My name is Justin, I have owned, raised and trained dogs most of my life. I worked with an animal shelter when I was in college rehabilitating high risk animals (animals about to be put down) and placing them in quality homes and I just became a member of Pet Sitters International

I am a Commercial Portrait Photographer and work from home. My girlfriend and I live in the Seattle area with lots of parks and places to play with and walk dogs. We have a large wood floored house with a big fully fenced and locked yard with plenty of room to run. I like to go for an early morning walk, get coffee and walk the dogs for a while then bring them back, feed and play with them.

I love animals and treat them with the utmost care, love and respect. Training and discipline does not involve yelling, any sort of physical discipline or shaming. Respect and love the animal and it will do the same for you.

My only restriction are dogs under 4 years old. I simply don't have the time and attention that puppies need but I do love to walk animals of all sizes and ages.

My name is Ingrid, and I am a senior marketing and international business major at Seattle University. I currently have a 10 year old rescue lab-spaniel, and love him to the bottom of his stomach (there is no bottom-- it's an endless pit) and back! I grew up taking care of my aunt's and her neighbourhood's dogs every weekend. Currently, I'm hoping to make a little money to save up for a graduation trip with my family, and I thought what better way than to hang out and take care of some of my favourite animals!
