Hi, I'm Katie, I'm 22 years old. I'm a student at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I'm studying Business Management and want to take that field in the animal care direction. I am in the process of moving out, so I'm not sure just yet about having pets over at my place. But currently, I have a 2 1/2 year old chow named Louie. He does not bite, he is extremely picky with his food, he makes
friends too easily, and he loves to sing to the piano (my mom plays). Before that I had a lab/husky mix for over 3 years who is now in my sisters care (she moved out). In the mornings I usually take my dog out for a walk for about 30 min before i get ready for school, then feed him. I take him in the house while I'm in school for the 2+ hours, then i come home and walk him again. I usually give him a snack. If I'm not at work, i leave him outside in my gated front yard and then in the evening i give him another 30 min walk. I absolutely love dogs and cats and animals in general. I try and give Louie at least a million kisses and hugs a day even though he tries to resist them all. But how can I not? He's the best thing that's ever happened to me. I care a lot about every animal's wellbeing. I would never neglect or "forget" about an animal. I drop everything to make sure my pet's health is in check and I would do that for any animals regardless of who its owner is. My dog is NOT fixed but he does have all his shots up to date and is very friendly despite the stigma put on chows about being aggressive. I believe that an owner's behavior is reflected on their pet. And as far as I'm concerned, my dog could not live in a more happier environment because of the love and attention he receives. If you have any further questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact me, otherwise I can't wait to meet your furry animal!??
