I am a college student who is really missing their pets at home. My entire life I have grown up with dogs and cats in my home. I also walked dogs and took care of other animals such as, fish, chickens, along with cats and dogs. I am free on short notice and can't wait to work with you and your pet:)

Hi. I'm a licensed massage therapist and Reiki Master Teacher who loves dogs (especially large breeds!) but have none of my own. Living in Center City hasn't fit my lifestyle to make a full-time commitment to a dog, so pet sitting is a great way for me to experience the joy of animal companionship.

I prefer to keep one dog at a time and enjoy large breeds. My setup is ideal for dogs who like people, but aren't compatible with other dogs. Since I have a small outdoor space, it is possible to keep a dog without lots of city walks; although I like walking my guests who aren't too much trouble on the sidewalks. There are dog parks around the city... I am closest to the one at 11th and Lombard... and I am fit and active (also a Certified Yoga Teacher), and am confident walking highly spirited dogs when necessary.


I'm always happy and excited to share massage and Reiki with my pet guests. It helps them relax, creates trust between us, and feels great! For an additional fee I love teaching owners how to confidently massage their own dogs and cats. My son had pet rats growing up, and I used to massage them too! Of course I provide these services for humans as well, and offer a discount to DogVacay clients. Let's discuss if you are interested.


I have owned dogs and cats my entire life, and have lots of experience with leash and behavior training. My last three dogs were a semi-aggressive lab/pit bull mix, a chow/shepherd mix, and a great pyrenees mix. All were over 65 pounds. I'm not intimidated by big bully breeds!

I do live in a small building and care about my neighbors, so cannot accommodate uncontrollable barking from my pet care clients, or marking/spraying in my home. If your pet has serious separation anxiety, please discuss with me before you book.

I currently offer doggy daycare (in addition to overnight boarding)! I’d be happy to keep your pup entertained while you’re away for the day.

Your dog can roam free 24/7 with constant companionship in my comfortable, peaceful, smoke-free two bedrooms apartment with a small patio.

I work from home, so I stay home all day. I have all the free time to play and keep your pet company. Your pups will feel calm and loved, being spoiled with attention while you're away. I used to have 2 adopted pugs however my boy Titan passed away at the age of 17 last Oct. and my girl Cleo 16th last December.

My home is best suited for small to medium sized dogs that get along with other dogs. I also do dog daycare and dog walking. I love all dogs and I treat every dog as my own. They will get uncountable hugs and kisses through out the day. We will play through out the day inside and outside the house. I have many experiences with difference types, sizes and personalities 50+ pups from DogVacay site alone! I'm conveniently located a block away from Rittenhouse Square Park and 10 mins walk to Schuylkill dog park. If your pups love long walk, I can take them as far as they need (to your request) even all the way to Old City.

- I will take care of your dogs as my own.
-Very flexible schedule. You can drop your dog off or pick up at any time (11pm? 4am? No problem). I can walk to pick up your pup or meet up half way within 1 mile radius.
- I do not kennel/crates dogs. Must bring your own crate if your dog requires one.
- You pup will never be alone longer than 4 yours (usually less)
- All dogs are required to potty trained.
- I own a car for in case of an emergency.
- Must be up to date on all current vaccinations and medications (i.e. Front Line, Heart Worm, etc)
- I will do my very best to accommodate the drop-off and pick-up time.
*Rates are for a 24 hour period; including one night. Daycare is for 8 hours. Your dog is welcome to stay beyond that time. I do daycare at low additional fee price negotiable.

Anyone who knows me would know how passionate I am about dogs. Even those who do not know me and see me in the street would see that I would cross the street at the sight of a day and make sure to greet my new-found friend! I am the owner of dogs (for over 15 years) and have experience in dog training. My two dogs have actually received rewards as "most obedient" and "best vocal". I also have a certificate in Animal Rights from Germany, and am an active spokesperson for animal rights, especially dogs.
With my deep care and patience with dogs, I would interact with the dogs that I come across as my buddies. I have learned dog psychology and am a true believer that with the right training, no dog would be violent. My training is hence targeted towards non-violent behavior, and in making pets feel calm and comfortable. I am also physically active and love to walk, so I would make sure to take the dogs out on multiple walks (and runs, too) in the neighborhood (Philadelphia Center City Area). I am organized, responsible and have leadership skills, and I focus on ensuring that the dogs are at their best behavior when at home or outdoors.

Hello. My name is Sayaka. I am a Japanese female living near Rittenhouse square in Philly. I graduated Animal Science course in the department of veterinary medicine in Japan and I have a lot of experience regarding animal care from pet to farm animals such as goat, sheep, chicken, and cow. I used to have 2 dogs, 3 cats, fishes, and birds in Japan. My apartment is not allowed to have a pet now but I am thinking to move in an apartment which I can have a pet and to adopt pets afterwards. I always think what is good for your pets to live healthy and happily.

My husband Doug and I have been dog lovers for our entire lives. We currently have two dachshunds, Otto (10) and Gus (6), that are friendly and love napping and the occasional play time.

We live in a cozy row home in Graduate Hospital with a small backyard patio perfect for lounging and any 'emergency' bathroom breaks.

Our pups get at least 2 walks a day minimum. We are fairly active people and love taking our dogs to the Schuylkill Dog Park, Rittenhouse and Fitler Square when we can!

I'm a young adult living with one roommate in Fairmount and looking to add some puppy love to my life! I grew up with shih tzus most of my life and often took care of my friend's golden retriever, labradoodle and many cats! I work as a nanny and have morning hours Monday-Friday, I'm home in the middle of the day for a few hours, and then work an hour or two in the evenings. The dogs that stay at my place are used to a minimum of three walks a day and lots of cuddles :)

Hello! I have always been a huge dog lover. I had a family dog growing up and various other dogs that I have lived with through roommates and taken care of. I always volunteer to watch my friends pets when they are away and want to continue extending my services throughout the city of Philadelphia.

Hello fellow pet owners! My name is Kara and I am an active and compassionate 25 year old graduate student living in the Schuylkill area. I have been quite obsessed with dogs ever since I learned what they were and am therefore an avid socializer of any dog I happen to run into. I have been pet sitting and dog walking since I was a young teen and recently adopted my own pup! I have been to many professional training classes and have experience with a vast range of dog breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments. I'm healthy and quite athletic so I will be able to provide your dog(s) with the appropriate level of exercise, play, and mental stimulation that they require. I have had prior roommates with dogs and I helped their owners care for them and watch them whenever they needed me to. Because of my living situation (current roommate has a cat and is allergic), I would prefer to come to your residence to pet-sit and do whatever else you would like me to do for your pet(s)! Unfortunately, I had to leave my dog at home with my parents for the first half of my grad school career so I am really missing spending quality time with her, which is why I am so excited to be joining this community!

I have my internship and classes Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 8am-5pm, but am usually available any time in the evening. I really enjoy taking dogs on lengthy walks throughout the city and I LOVE going to parks (especially dog parks). If your dog likes swimming as much as mine does, I would be happy to take yours to a safe place for them to get in the water. I typically like to play with a variety of toys (squeakers, ropes, chew toys, balls, etc.) while mixing in some basic commands and/or training and mind-stimulating games.

I am not allergic to any animals or dander, and am able to give oral medications as needed. I have experience with bathing, brushing, socializing, and various types of leash-training. (My dog is quite crazy and pulls a lot still so I can handle stronger and more energetic dogs.) I am very reachable by cellphone and e-mail and am more than willing to meet with you beforehand if you prefer.

I truly love animals, but dogs have my heart. I know how anxiety-producing it can be to hand over your beloved pet to a stranger and expect them to provide the quality of care that you, yourself, provide. I am dedicated to giving your pet my full attention and care and I aim to give your dog(s) the best time they could possibly have when they are with me!
