Hi! I'm a passionate, energetic, caring pet-sitter in Brooklyn. I absolutely love all pets, from cats, fish, birds, to reptiles, but most of all dogs! I never had a dog growing up but badly wanted one, so I was always watching my neighbors' and friends' dogs. I have experience watching, walking, bathing, and playing with dogs of all sizes, breeds and personalities. I think it's important to have the same level of energy and enthusiasm as the dog you're taking care of has, and to love and care for the pet as if they are your own! I will be a safe, fun, responsible, reliable caretaker of your beautiful sidekick and close friend.

As pet owner and professional dog walker, I've spent much of my life taking care of and being around animals. Dogs need love and respect, and with the amount of warmth and compassion they show us, I'd say they've earned the right to be treated like royalty. I am kind and compassionate with pets, whether they are my furry little family member or someone else's, and I enjoy interpreting their needs and helping them feel comfortable, calm and safe, and most importantly, happy!

I have had numerous types of pets in my car growing up from Gerbils, Hermit Crabs, Rabbits, and Dogs. Pets are what make the world go around in blood ok and I am forever a protector and lover of them. All animals are different and you can not treat them all the same. They are just like people and you have to learn them personally to understand how to care for them. I believe the love, care and experience that I have makes me the perfect fit to take care of your pet!

I am a 35 year old freelance creative living and working from my sunny one-bedroom apartment in beautiful, historic Bed Stuy. I am a TRUE animal lover and while I have lived with and cared for many dogs and cats over the years, I don't have any pets of my own at the moment.

I would love nothing more than to spoil your pets silly with lots of walks and cuddles. I am very active and love having any excuse to go for a walk or a jog and will make sure that your dog gets as much exercise as they need. I'm also happy to make my lap available for times while I'm on the computer or curled up with a good book on my couch.

And for you cat folks, I love playing and cuddling with cats too! In fact, I am famous among my friends for winning over persnickety kitties!

I also have a big ol' station wagon – perfect for transporting your pet safely to and from home and also for fun adventures like walks on the beach or hiking trails upstate (only with mom and dad's permission, of course).

Hello all!

My name is Sarah and I am currently a student living and working in Brooklyn. I grew up in California with horses, cats, and lots of dogs. In the past I have taken care of large dogs, like rottweilers and pit bulls, as well as small dogs, like dachshunds. I have experience in post-surgical care for dogs and cats, as well as in elderly-pet care.

Since moving to New York, I found a kitten on the street with my boyfriend, and we nursed him back to life. He is now a fat and happy, but still is quite scared of everyone but us, so I only work outside of my place.

I love to communicate and get to know the owner and the pet in order to better learn their specified regimen. I offer to run with dogs, go to their favorite park, or just have a relaxing stroll around the neighborhood if that's all they can take. If you prefer single walks, or group walks, I will schedule your dog accordingly. For the feline, I can do nonstop play if they're energetic, or help them adapt to new environments if they're a little skittish.

As for me, I'm not afraid of bad weather, and I will love your pet like it's my own. I wish I could fill my apartment full of animals, but this is NYC, so let me take care of yours.

My name is Jacqueline and my mission is to provide a safe, fun place for your dog to play, socialize, and receive lots of affection. I feel that this is the perfect fit for me, as I am pursuing a career in the pet care field. Currently, I am an intern where aside from my personal experience I am getting hands on training with dog handling.
I'm also almost finished with the pet care course where I am learning about various topics in dogs and cat care, such as their health, handling, specific breeds and their behavior. This program has taught me that all animals require special care and consideration, which can only be provided if the caretaker is dedicated and equipped with sufficient knowledge, skills and abilities.

My name is Andrea. I currently am a graphic designer in Midtown, however, that is not my passion.

I've always had a passion for animals; I've volunteered at animal shelters, worked for a pet welfare organization in NYC (Bideawee) and I've watched many different dogs from different families.
At the animal shelter, I was trained to walk and handle dogs of all sizes. I'm experienced in walking, feeding, vet trips, park trips, and even medications. My own dog, an English Bulldog, has many allergy issues so I am capable of giving dogs pills, as well as administering shots.

I recently moved to Brooklyn from upstate NY. When I was upstate, I had my own dog walking/sitting business. I had many clients, sometimes alternating between 15 dogs in one day! When I got my job in the city, the commute was unbearable, so I moved to be closer. Unfortunately, this also made me stop walking/sitting dogs. I'm looking to get back into it because being outside walking pups or just hanging around the house with them makes me happy!

I'm a very laid back, caring person and would love to help out and treat your dogs like my own when you're away or even some quick weekend walks while you're busy.

**About my home/services**
I offer pet sitting services in YOUR home while you're away, whether for the day or for a week. I will walk, feed, and give your dog all the attention it needs!
I do work in Manhattan so my day is mainly there, however, if this is a weekend stay, there will be no issues on how much time will be spent with the dog.

I also provide dog walks, usually on weekends as well, however, I can be flexible to walk after work hours.

**What to expect**
Happy to take long walks and runs (if we're both up for running)! Hopefully there is a park nearby or at least some space where we can walk a little freely. Will also take them to the dog park, if comfortable. Lots of playtime will be given at home, along with lots of cuddles!

None - all I ask is to meet beforehand.

**About me**
I have always been an animal lover. I used to care for my neighbors' dogs growing up while they were on vacation. I had fish when I was small, and eventually, our family got two cats in 2001. In our house, I became known as the cat whisperer because they easily responded to me. Later, when I would come home from college, I would take my two cats for checkups to the vet and would administer medication when needed. Both cats eventually contracted kidney disease, but I gave them subcutaneous fluids when needed until the very end. As you can probably guess, I care deeply for pets!

I live in Bed-Stuy with my roommate, Shelby. She has a 1-year-old cat named Daisy. A year ago, I cared for a 4-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer named Yukon in my college town, walking him three times a week, and sometimes feeding him when the owner was running late from work. I also completed the occasional walk for coworkers' and friends' pets.

**About my home/services**
I live in a small 2BR apartment in Bed-Stuy off of the Nostrand Ave stop. We are on the 2nd floor in a pet-friendly apartment building, however, I do not offer in-home pet services because our kitty Daisy currently runs the place.

My most popular service is walking. I live about a 20-minute walk from Prospect Park and love to get out and explore.

I also offer services where I can stop by and check up on your pet, feed him or her, take them out for a short walk, etc. Really whatever needs to be done.

I am more than willing to dog sit and stay overnight in other people's homes so the pet always has someone watching over.

I have plenty of experience taking care of senior cats (both of my cats had Feline Herpes Virus and kidney disease and needed medication every other day).

**About my neighborhood**
Bed-Stuy is a very friendly neighborhood, where people are always roaming the streets. I'm about a 20-minute walk from Prospect Park and a 35-minute walk from Fort Greene Park.

Considering I do not offer in-home service, I am more than willing to travel to your home and accompany your pup to his or her favorite park!

**What to expect**
I absolutely love cuddling with dogs and cats, but I also understand sometimes that's not really their thing. I love long walks with dogs, playing with laser pointers with cats, giving treats (after completing a task, of course), or whatever the animal prefers.

**Special rules or requests**
I do not have any special needs. I really just love animals, and love meeting new people. If you need something that DogVacay doesn't offer, let me know and we can try to arrange something!

I have lived with dogs my entire life and have been primary caregiver to my sweet love, Bella for 11 years. I love playing with dogs and having them around. I was considering getting a playmate for Bella, so I think this will be a good way to get used to having a second dog in the house.

I have a large 3 bedroom condo with a private roof deck. Your dogs will never feel cramped. I am pretty liberal with allowing dogs on the furniture (couches and beds). There is a large dog park about 4 blocks from my home where I take Bella often and would take your guy/girl too (as long as you're comfortable with that). I will walk your dog 3-4 times a day for at least 20 minutes and we will have fun playing and hanging out outside on the roof deck.

Restrictions:

Please be honest if your dog has any aggression to other dogs or food, or has separation anxiety issues.

Your dog must be house trained and able to walk on a leash.

I absolutely love all animals. I grew up on a ranch in Texas, so I have always been surrounded by lots of different animals. I am always my happiest when around animals.
I currently have a 4-year-old terrier mix. He is the love of my life! I couldn't imagine my life without that little boy. So I'm used to high energy dogs, that need a lot of attention.
