My walks are safe and fun I like to make sure my Dog/s are having the up most comfortable experience as if they were being walked and taken care of by there very own owner. I play numerous fun games and activities which will give dogs time to exercise and get much needed fulfillment of fresh air and playtime with other dogs (only if requested)

Hi! My name is Eddie Barger. I've cared for dogs in many ways, for most of my life. Besides having a couple dogs of my own for 10 years, I've walked and babysat dogs for neighbors and volunteered in animal shelters. I like to do this type of work because it makes me happy to ensure that pets are getting the proper care they need.

Hi there! I am a part-time working Mom of 2 young boys, 7 and 8. I work 4 days a week during the school year, with Wednesday's off, early mornings and late afternoons free. I will have more free time during the summer. What better way to spend my spare time, than by keeping your pets company and caring for them in your absense. I have ALWAYS LOVED animals and have a great appreciation for them. I've never owned a dog but always wanted one and I have spent plenty of time being around and sitting for those of family and friends. I always had a cat growing up and throughout my adult life, along with many other small animals. I recently lost my furry best friend, my wonderful cat of 16 years that I had since he was a kitten. He got sick and sadly, had to be put to sleep so he would not suffer anymore. I do not own any other animals at this time. I do sit guinea pigs, bearded dragons and gecco's on the weekends for my boys' school and have even kept them for the summer, so this is nothing new for me. I have taken care of sick animals, some requiring oral medicine and special care, injured animals, single and multiple pets at one time. As I am new to DogVacay, I am not sure yet about boarding/caring for dogs in my home, but I am flexible. I can walk them, feed them, play with them, bathe them, take them to and pick them up from vet appointments, keep them company, etc...Whether in your home or mine, you can trust your pet/s will be in good, loving hands in my care. I look forward to serving you and your pet.

4 years ago my best friend (a dog walker) introduced me to a dog walking opportunity as a job while on a break from collge. It was a life changing experience, to say the least. I have always been a dog person, but i developed a profound love and understanding with those beautiful creatures that brighten up our day. I love to walk and play, and cuddling while watching a sad/funny/scary movie is one of the traditions mia (my dog) and I follow! I believe in the sweet power of love and words. I am very patient and have a lot of experience with aggressive dogs. I have a part time job but I am off on weekends and holidays. I am also bery flexible and reliable in case of emergencies. On my free time, I volunteer at an animal shelter close by which has taught me how to help the dogs manage their anger and feel more understood. I have a 4 years of experience as a seasonal dog walker and occacional dogsitter/boarder. I will gain their respect as they will have to earn mine as well. But most importantly, i will make it a great experience! We will have fun, play, and exercise. I am and always have been a huge animal lover. I've had tons of pets growing up and my love for them never ceases. I work at a Veterinary Clinic on the Upper East Side and absolutely love my job! I have owned both dogs and cats all my life. I am originally from Melbourne, Australia and brought my two year old Cavapoo Ted along with me. I have grown up with all different kinds of breeds such as Cocker Spaniel, Border Collie, Jack Russel and English Bulldog. I also enjoy fostering dogs!
