Hello all pets and pet parents! My name is Nellie I am currently a student at Drury University studying Secondary Education.

I come from a home of many pets of all shapes, sizes, and species and I have lived my entire life in a house full of animals. While I am here at school, I miss my pups and kitties and would love to visit and care for yours to fill the void!

I have worked at a boarding facility for a year now and I have experience caring for dogs with many different personalities and traits; I have cared for the most energetic, bouncy boxer to the most timid (and leaky) chihuahua. While at school, I unfortunately can't have pets visit me, but I would love to go to your home and visit any pet - whether it be dog, cat, turtle, bird, or bunny - in my available time and provide them with love, exercise, and any other need I am able to meet.

I absoluble love animals. Growing up I had at least 5 dogs at all times, and several cats. I've worked with birds and reptiles and I have no restrictions. I can't wait to meet your pet and learn exactly what they want and need. A typical day will customized to your baby. If they like to play catch, I'll play catch. If they like to play tug of war, I'll do it. Unfortunately due to my current living situation I cannot care for your baby at my home, but I will happily come to you.

I grew up always having a dog, learning that they are truly apart of one's family and indeed a true companion. Not only do I have experience with dogs of my own, but with others'. I have multiple experiences dog sitting others' companions and have loved every minute of it. These experiences have ranged from one overnight stay to a week and a half of boarding. Your pet will not only receive all the love and care that they need, but they will receive a more friendly and caring environment than anywhere else. My belief is that our pets are apart of our family and that they deserve the absolute best.

The activites we will do each day will be tailored specifically to each individual dog. Depending on the dog we will either be walking around my apartment complex, at Sequiota Park, or if a preference is given by the owner I always try to make that work. If the dog is registered for Cruse Dog Park in Springfield we would definitely be visiting the park on a daily basis. Aside from walks we would play with their favorite toys, or the toys that I have available in my home, play fetch, and even go on a run for high-energy pups.

I do not have any breed preferences, any and all are welcome! However, prior to sitting him/her I would like to know if they are potty trained, if they are good with other dogs, if they are aggressive with their food and/or toys, if they have any special needs or medical care, if they can go up and down stairs, and if they are good on car rides (in case we go to the park etc.). Lastly, I would like to know the level of training and obedience the dog obtains.

I am a senior at Missouri State University. My major is heath devices and I am planning on attending Missouri State's Masters in Occupational Therapy program. I currently have two dogs and one cat. I have one black lab that is very active and one little black poodle that is very sweet. My cat is also very sweet and adorable and I love spending time with all of my pets. I love meeting new cats and dogs :)
