Greetings Minnesota doggies!

My name is Mike and I've been a dog lover for my entire life. That doesn't quite emphasize just how much I adore dogs though. Growing up with three dogs in Massachusetts (two Basset Hounds and a Beagle), I've never known a moment where my clothing wasn't covered in dog fur.

Upon graduation from college in New York City, I took it upon myself to provide personalized, private walking and sitting services for various demanding clients across Manhattan. For three years, I regularly walked the same 5 dogs, in addition to dozens of others over the course of my time in the city. Whether they be puppies, seniors, big or small, long haired or short, I loved them all equally with all my heart as if they were my own. Many of my dogs' "parents" are now personal friends.

Newly resettled to Minneapolis, I am looking to bring my years of experience, reliability, and love to your beloved pets here in the Cities. I am ready and willing to provide a variety of services, from simple walks and belly rubbing to transportation, and daycare or overnight stays at my home, or yours!

**About me**
Why hello! I work at a doggy daycare and have learned a lot about the different personalities of breeds, as well as how to bathe all the different kinds of coats and trim nails. I am currently attending Ridgewater College and am in their Veterinary Technician program. We have every kind of animal you can think of there that we have to take care of. We get our animals from shelters and treat them at our clinic at the college ourselves. I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Charlie in the household, he used to live with two cats therefore he is used to cats. I live with my dad and stepmom, who are also big animal lovers. I have owned many animals throughout my life, from fish and reptiles to bunnies, cats and dogs. Since I go to college away from the cities, I am able to DogVacay away during the weekends usually, as during the summer and holidays I am available to DogVacay during the weekdays and weekends. Anyways! That's a little bit about me and my life. I hope you enjoyed my rant about myself.

**About my home/services**
I live in a condo with a lot of space. Since we live in the cities, when I take the pups out, we go on walks to get a good breath of fresh air. It is a very safe environment. I am home most of the day unless I have errands to run. I offer a couple of extra services, such as nail trims for dogs, cats and bunnies($10) and ear cleanings for dogs($10).

**About my neighborhood**
I don't have any nearby dog parks since I live in a city. I live on the end of the city where the streets can be busy, but can also be very slow. I live close to a people park, that is where I love to walk Charlie when we go on walks. There are lots of trees and there is a beautiful river next to it.

**What to expect**
If your animal stays with me, expect lots of cuddles, playing, and walks: we walk around the city and in a beautiful people park where there is lots of grass to walk on and so many scents to smell. I love to play some tug-a-war if they are up for it.

**Special rules or requests**
Since I have had a lot of experience with all the breeds, I don't have any limitations. Although I only take animals that are dog friendly since I have a Cavalier in the household, that is if they are boarding at my place. For pick-up/drop-off instructions($10 one way), I can go around what you need but am only willing to go 25 miles out of the way from my place max.

I have a 2 year-old yellow labrador named Olive who is my sweet angel, and I will treat your pet with the respect and love that I give her.

I go to Saint Anthony Dog Park every single day, it's a great place for pets to socialize, play fetch and run around. I also enjoy running so if your pet needs a more fast paced walk, I'm a perfect match!

I do not offer pets to stay with me at my home for I live in a small apartment in the city. However, I absolutely can come and stay in your home and keep your pets safe and happy and your home well maintained.

Hey there, my name is Shannon, I am a student at MCTC in downtown Minneapolis and live in the Elliot Park neighborhood. I am interested in helping you with your pet's due to my financial inability to have one of my own right now. I find pet's to be therapeutic, so not only am I helping you provide care to your fluffy or slimy pet-but their company is also helpful for me! I have two classes on Monday and one class on Thursday, but the rest are online-so I am free most day's and your pet and I can keep one another company. I have 8 hour work days on Tuesdays and Fridays. If you would like to hear from owners of pets I have watched I can help you contact them, but hopefully we can meet up and see if I am the right fit for your pet!

I am a 23 year old college student hoping to major in ecology, evolution, and behavior at the University of Minnesota. I grew up with a dog, volunteered with and fostered through Pet Project Rescue, volunteered at the Como Zoo aquatics department, and have worked at 3 different dog daycare/boarding facilities. I love all animals, especially dogs, and would love to help you out with yours!

Currently I'm fostering through Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, helping one dog at a time find their forever home! Depending on whether or not I have a foster currently, I may or may not be able to take dog reactive/non-social dogs. The picture of me with the caterpillar demonstrates that not only will I feed and love your dog while you're away, but also your fish, snake, or tarantula too! I have experience with exotics and am not the least bit squeamish.

My apartment is a hop and a skip from the scenic Stone Arch bridge, a popular dog-walking destination, and multiple dog parks where your pooch can get some exercise and fresh air. Because it is a rented unit, a crate is required for guests to reduce the risk of accidents and choking hazards.

For overnight care I operate on a 24 hour basis, so if you drop off at 3PM then pick up is expected at or before 3PM at the end of the stay. If the stay goes longer, a daycare charge may be applied. This policy also applies to in-home sitting according to when you would like me to arrive or depart.

My fiancee and I love taking care of animals; we have dog-sit several dogs in our apartment already and greatly enjoyed it. I grew up with many dogs and I have really missed having a furry companion to hang out with. I've owned several large breeds, but I am also very familiar with smaller dogs.
Our apartment isn't huge, but we have a fenced-in backyard (with a lock) and there are lots of nearby walking paths and parks. We do not have any other pets and there are no stairs or ramps (much easier for older dogs to get in and out). We do have neighbors on all sides, so we would prefer a dog that doesn't bark too much, although some barking is fine.
I am comfortable giving dogs oral medication if needed. I also have experience with dogs prone to seizures and those with hip dysplasia.

I was out of town for a while and called DogVacay to suspend my account. It looks as though they did not. I am back and not going anywhere in the near future. I love all types of animals, though dogs are my favorite. I adopted an abused dog that no one wanted because there are way too many dogs without homes. I have been thinking about adopting another older dog that no one wants. I'm just scared to get attached to a 10 plus year old dog and have it not live very long. Please feel free to ask any questions you have. I understand and agree with many people that treat their dog like their child. If your dog or other animal stays with me they will receive excellent treatment, attention and I'll do everything I can think of to make them comfortable until your return.

We are two dog loving people who are looking to expand our love. We currently have two very well behaved non-aggressive dogs. They both love to play with other dogs. We both have plenty of experience caring for dogs. We have a decent sized apartment that is dog friendly and has a fenced in back yard. And walks? We love walks and one of our dogs gets at least two a day so your furbaby can come along. We also love the dog park! Brad and I work two completely different schedules so there won't be long periods of time where your doggy is left alone. We do not kennel our dogs while we are gone or at night. We have a crate for the pug but that's more for potty training purposes as he was a rescue. We allow the dogs to come sleep with us and they will get plenty of love and attention. We are used to administering oral medications and have training with leash pulling. We also have experience with separation anxiety and potty training. If your doggy come and stays with us he will get all the love and attention he needs and will have fun on walks and playing with our pups!

I have always connected with animals; young, old, small, and big, I have watched them all. It's important to me to make sure that your pets(s) feel comfortable and safe while you are away and that your home is taken care of in the process. I will always be very respectful of house rules, clean up after myself, and most importantly I will treat your dogs like family; putting them at ease while you are away.

I have been providing pet care for 2 years and provide service to many regular clients, but I am always looking for more! I am available on very short notice and always make an effort to be accommodating to your busy schedules. I have worked with dogs with separation anxiety, on-leash aggression, elderly dogs, puppies, cats, and many other small mammals and reptiles. I know its hard to be separated from your pets, which is why I will always keep you updated and treat your pets as if they were my own. I can't wait to meet you and your pets!

Hi! We've grown up around dogs and love having them around our condo! I (Diana) am a graduate student at the University of Minnesota, so my hours can be flexible for drop-offs and pickups as I work only 10 minutes away. My roommate (Jenna) and I both help care for the dogs, so they receive double the love and attention. Many like sitting out on the balcony when it's nice out and watching the cars and light rail trains go by!

Please let me know if you’d like to schedule a meet-and-greet! We do require a meet and greet before a short stay (1-2 days) and request an overnight stay before longer visits.

A couple other things to note:
-We consider puppies as those under 2 years of age and unfortunately can only take dogs older than 2.
-As we are in a condo, we can't take dogs that like to bark a lot or bark while owners are away out of respect for our neighbors.
-If you are requesting a stay during a workday, your dog should be comfortable being left alone for 8 hours.
