My name is Sarah, I recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and am currently an AmeriCorps member. Throughout college I volunteered at the Animal Humane Society, where my responsibilities included walking dogs and bathing them. I have cared for animals my whole life, I grew up with a variety of pets- dogs, cats, chickens, bunnies etc. I currently have a golden retriever, who is very friendly and cuddly! In addition, I have five chickens (that spend some portion of the day outside- only when its nice out). However, the chickens can stay in the coop when your dog is outside so there isn't a problem. I have a large house and a fully fenced backyard where the dogs are free to roam!

My teenage children, husband and I love caring for dogs. We would love to open our home to other people who need a trustworthy, loving care provider while they work or travel.

I owned a home-day care for 10 years. I am a therapist for Autistic children and work as a Principal in a preschool. Needless to say, caring for others is who I am!

I am a student at Northwestern University who loves dogs and is looking to make some extra income outside of school. I have taken care of my neighbor's dogs when they go on vacation for the past 4 years and had a family dog growing up.

**About my home/services**
I live in a home in Evanston with a backyard and plenty of space to play. The neighborhood is very safe and close to the Northwestern campus. I live with other people that would love to pet and play with dogs as well!

**About my neighborhood**
The house that I live in is across the street from a park that would be great to play in. There are sidewalks and great walks very close to the house. However, I do live on a semi busy street.

**What to expect**
I love to run, cuddle, play, and walk with dogs. I can do whatever the dog prefers. I will definitely take the dog to the park if that is what they like to do. I can also go to the beach with them because it is close.

**Special rules or requests**
I prefer dogs that are not smelly!

Your four legged kids will get to play freely in our large fenced in backyard! My husband Dan & I are at home all day long so your pup will get 24/7 care & love! We also have 2 crates (small & medium sized) as well as a baby gate if your pets needs these items. We live in downtown Evanston so we have lots of places we can walk to as well including Northwestern next door as well as the beach! My husband & I love all kinds of dogs as do our two pups Leila & Ziggy. My husband worked full time at a large shelter so he has experience working professionally with all types of breeds. Your loved one will get tons of hugs, cuddles, & love while they stay with us. We don't have furniture restrictions & our pups love to cuddle in bed with us. We have a one year old who absolutely loves dogs & thinks barking is hysterical. We do have a car so if an emergency occurs we will be able to transport your pup wherever he or she needs to go. With personal as well as professional experience we are able to tell pretty quickly if something is off with your pup & we would notify you asap!
