I grew up with a dog, and haven't had the time to commit to a new little fluff ball since he had to be put down when he and I were both 17 years old . More recently, I was the dog walker/ caretaker for a family with two dogs when the family I nannied for was away. Neighbors and friends know to ask me to watch their furrier family members when they are going out of town, but I enjoy weekends in Chicago, and am looking to primarily stay in the city on weekends while 'sitting instead of spending weekends in the suburbs.

I love getting outside in sunny weather to walk and run, and have all the time in the world for your little buddy Friday -Sunday evening.

Ciao! I am Nicole and I just graduated from Temple University in Philly and I studied Economics and Risk Management and just moved to Chicago for a job. I am originally from Philly and my family-- including my 13 year old portie-- is at home and I definitely miss having him around. His name is Pesce and he is quite particular about EVERYTHING and I know how much my family fretted to make sure he had a loving (and patient) caretaker when we vacationed abroad or just went to the beach for the weekend. So here I am very excited to help other families travel while also making sure their pets are well taken care of!

Also in the photos, That is me with the previous mayor of Philly-- Nutter. The one photo I am holding my dog because he loves to go UP to the roof deck but refuses to go down unless my sister or I hold him. Another photo is where we were checking for ticks but it turned into lots of cuddles.

I am a big animal lover, volunteer in an animal shelter and very experienced care taker (dogs, cats, children). Sadly, my passion for traveling would not allow me to be a responsible dog owner, that is why I do DogVacay so I can get the love for doggies out of my system. I only host one dogie at the time so they can have my full attention and there are no conflicts, therefore my place is ideal for boarding of senior's doggies or those that are scared of other animals, children etc. But of course, I will be happy to take care of lively, animals and children loving cuddly four legged friend, too. As an online student, I am home for most of the day and your dogie will never be left alone for more than two hours.

Past two years I provided dog care for Mastiff and Akita. Now, I am looking for a new four-legged friend(s) over here. I have experience with pretty much every breed, you name it and aside doggies, I used to be a kitty owner and have plenty experience with those as well as various different rodents.

Hi! I'm Kameron and would love to hang out with your dog in the Loop! I love the location I live in because I am extremely close to Millennium Park, Maggie Daley Park, and Lake Shore East Park. No dog likes to "go" on the concrete, so I love having so many grassy areas around! I have walked over 130 dogs since moving to Chicago in mid-January. I'm so excited to add dog boarding/sitting to my capabilities too! I grew up in Charlotte, NC with a golden retriever, numerous cats, guinea pigs, and a bunny- not all at one time of course! I have taken care of dogs and cats since I could take care of myself. I am a banker, but I have a very flexible schedule and work from home most days. My boyfriend also lives in my apartment with me. I would love to take care of your furry companion!

**About my home/services**
I live in an apartment complex that has a dog run, and is located extremely close to numerous parks, dog parks, and grassy areas. My apartment is a one-bedroom with a spacious living area. It is a brand new apartment with wood floors and carpet areas. I offer boarding for $35/night with however many walks and potty breaks your dog needs, daycare for $20/day, pet-sitting for $42/night, dog walking for $17 for a 30 minute walk and $26 for a 60 minute walk, check-ins for $20/visit, bathing for $15/bath, and pick-up/drop-off for $12 each way.

**About my neighborhood**
I live on the 34th floor in an apartment complex right around all of the Broadway Theaters in the Loop. It has a dog run, and is located extremely close to numerous parks, dog parks, and grassy areas. My favorite park to take dogs to is Lake Shore East Park. It is very dog friendly and has a fun dog park!

**What to expect**
While your dog stays with me, we will cuddle, play with his or her favorite toys, go on walks to all of the parks in the Loop, walk along the River Walk and Lake Shore Trail, and have the best doggie vacay! I am a runner, so if your dog normally runs with you, I would love to take you dog on a run as well!

**Special rules or requests**
My apartment complex does not allow the following breeds (trust me- I wish it did!): Akita, Giant Schnauzer, Alaskan Malamute, American Stafford-shire Terrier, Husky, Dalmatian, Bull-mastiff, Pit Bull, Chow, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Saint Bernard, and German Shepherd. I do well with all types of dog behaviors (anxious, aggressive, excited leash pullers, etc.).

Hi My name is Ara, and I am a dog lover. I grew up with two poodles when I was in high school. They are my family dogs so they do not live with me anymore but I would take care of them whenever I visited home from college.

I do not own a dog of my own yet but if I do, I would walk(run) them every morning, train them with new tricks and play fetch with them daily basis. I will take my dog to the dog park and have them play and socialize with other dogs as well. If I have to work that morning, I will wake up extra early to make sure they get a good walk at least 30 + min, and have them ready for the day before I go to work.

I am very excited to get a dog of my own in the future, so every dog I sit, I will treat them like my own dog and love them as much as I would if i had my own.

Hi there, I'm Karolina! I'm a student at DePaul and have lived with dogs for my entire life. Part of why I decided to become a dog sitter is the fact that I am not allowed to have dogs in my apartment, and I am in severe need of puppydog love. I'm great with dogs and take exceptional care of them - other people have noticed that I understand them and usually know exactly what they need. I can connect to any puppy and love them all - they will have a ton of fun staying with me, receive many cuddles and feel true love :)

Hi there! I'm Mandy, a recent college graduate looking for some extra dog time during my freelance work. My experience with dogs is vast; I grew up with the sweetest yellow lab, volunteered at animal shelters and worked at a dog hotel. Currently, I spend my time volunteering at a dog rescue center working on socialization skills with both other dogs and humans. My love of animals has been a major part of my personality since I was a child.

With my dog walking and animal care, I really take into consideration the best needs for your pet. We will work on certain skills or personality traits during our sessions. Social dogs will have wonderful, active retreats, while more shy or leisurely dogs will experience nice strolls through the neighborhood. Each Vacay day for your dog will include 3 walks around the neighborhood and all of the cuddles and care at home.
