Missing my two dogs back at home and would love to help care for your dog in any way I can help. I have had experience taking care of other people's dogs as well as cats and rabbits. I have also had to take care of my dog after he was injured. I love dogs of all breeds, age, and sizes.

I co-own an adorable 10 year old mutt with my mother. When I don't have her with me I long for a 4 (or 3 legged) friend to hang out with. I took care of a dog last year for 6 months. I have also taken care or several friends/coworkers dogs. I just took care of a 9 month old mini labor-doodle for 10 days over the holidays. I am a dog fanatic. Yes, I have been known to hang out at dog parks without a dog. I talk to most dogs that I see on the street or in my apartment building. I live close to the S St and Shaw Dog Parks so if your pup likes dog parks we have options! I also have lots of friends with dogs who like to go on doggy play dates! I am currently in between jobs so I either job hunt in my apartment or at a near by coffee shop for a few hours. I don't give my dog or any other dog human food, dog food only! I am a big dog lover who will care for your dog as if it they were my own! Trust me, Hank, my "child", goes everywhere with me. He is 5 years old and I have raised him since being 10 weeks old. My sister-in-law reminds me all the time that I take better care of Hank than she does of her own kids.

We live in a two level townhouse (with a medium size backyard) on the 1400 block of Swann St. We are 2 blocks away from the S Street Dog Park and a 1/2 block from 14th street and City Paws.

There is a lot of open space, toys and the joy of being permitted on all the furniture! We have fun! I strongly believe in the cliche, a tired dog is a happy dog!

We enjoy long walks and checking what is going on in the neighborhood (Meridian Hill Park, Dupont and Logan Circle).

I'm a med student at Georgetown who misses her family's dog at home. I can't get my own puppy right now so love to spend time with others and get outside for long walks. I live in a Dupont apartment with another med student and I have lots of experience walking dogs and dog sitting. My boyfriend and I treat the dogs we watch like part of our own family.

**About my home/services**
I have an apartment in Dupont Circle can be home almost all of the time I'm not at the hospital for school. Usually home early on weekdays and am home on weekends. I can keep close supervision and can walk dogs around Dupont and bring them to the dog park here.

**About my neighborhood**
My neighborhood is safe but relatively busy. Its actually a great place for walks. I can also drive dogs over to a huge open park I know well in Glover Park, where I love letting the dogs run around and get out some energy.

**What to expect**
I love running, long walks, and just playing with dogs at home. I am very loving with dogs !

I absolutely love dogs (I view them as family) and your furry friend will be well taken care of while staying with me! I've had dogs ranging from Papillon to Rottweiler in my life and have had experience training and taking care of them for the past 15 years.

I am also an approved foster with City Dogs Rescue in DC, and fostered a few times and attended dog training sessions through the organization.

I live in dog-friendly and cozy town home, with a small garden patch and plenty of neighborhood parks nearby for walks! In addition, my wonderful responsible roommate also love dogs, so your furry friend will have endless care and attention. But since it's a unit connected to other homes, we have found that dogs happiest here are those who are fully house trained and don't bark. I also can only watch 1 dog at a time, so your dog will get all of my attention.

Our home is clean with lounge areas for the dog. Food is never left out or accessible in the kitchen so your dog is safe, and dogs are welcome on the couches (if you allow that at home). Pups can sleep where they are comfortable, We will use your crate if your dog prefers it (I have experience crate training), as many do for sleeping or just relaxing. Plenty of places for walks and runs outdoors in our neighborhood (Shaw/Logan Circle), pet friendly neighborhood spots, and space to play and relax at home.

I work a standard 9am-5pm job in downtown DC, so pickup and drop-off times during the week have to be during the mornings and evenings. During weekdays, I will be available to give endless attention to your pup outside of working hours. During weekends, I will be at home to spoil your dog other than running a few errands (1-2 hour outings).

Please note, if you are unable to pick up your dog by 8:30 am (weekdays) or 10am (weekends) of the last day of the visit, you will be charged a $15 late pick-up rate. Pickups after 6pm will be charged $20.

Holiday weekends will have an additional charge of $10/day added to my standard rate.

I am a dog lover who can not have a dog in my current apartment. I am looking to fill this void by walking and house sitting dogs in the DC area. I have owned my own dog in the past and I am experienced taking care of dogs overnight when the owner is away. My days are pretty open so I am available at a last minute notice a well.

Hi! I grew up with generations of labs , and have been wanting a dog with my whole heart. Unfortunately my boyfriend and I don't have enough space for one in the city, so instead I'm hoping to be able to take care of other dogs until we are able to get our own. I'm a nurse in my other free time, and am hoping to be able to care for not only people, but animals too.

I am 19 and I have had a dog for most of my life and am really missing having the love a pet provides. I am a student at GW so I am free most nights to spend some time with your pet(s) and am great with pets that have issues such as separation anxiety or aggression towards other animals or people. Unfortunately because I am a student, I cannot allow animals into my dorm room but I am happy to travel to your homes if you're comfortable in order for me to be able to care for your pet(s) when life gets in the way. I am happy to accommodate any specific issues or concerns you may have and do have friends that could come and assist if you feel your pet(s) need more than one person.
