I have taken care of a dog when I was a kid and will give your dog the maximum attention by taking it out for long walks (as I love taking walks), or to the beach and play "throw ball" with him.

I have been traveling for the past 2 years and have been housesitting various times. I took care of 2 cats in San Pedro,dogs and cats in Santa Barbara and 2 dogs in San Miguel de Allende/Mexico for 3 weeks. My favorite was walking them at 6:30 am in the park when the town just woke up. They slept with me on the bed and were so excited when we all got up.
Now I am back in Santa Barbara and share the house with a 16 year old cat and my landlady's dog Timber. She lost her eyesight and Timber is just the most fantastic dog ever.
I volunteer at DAWG and ASAP and do Reiki on people and pets.
I can tune into your pets emotion and make them feel at ease.

Pets are precious! Caring for someone's friend(and family) is a huge responsibility and one I take extremely serious. I have always had a pet and, while in the military, trained and cared for several Military Working Dogs. Being raised on a farm I also have experience with different animals. While your furry friend is in my care we will explore local parks and possibly meet new friends, but my biggest mission is to develop a relationship in order to gain trust. I have no problem and will enjoy more than one animal and any recommendations or personal requests. Hope to meet you soon!

I have been around dogs my entire life. Mostly around larger breeds, such as Great Danes and Malamutes. Ive taken care of puppies to adults to elderly dogs. I’m not currently in a position where I am able to have a dog of my own, so I thought this would be a perfect way for me to get my puppy love in while helping others out as well. I love all breeds and sizes. I grew up with larger dogs so I am comfortable playing with them, walking them, giving them medicine, etc. I have a positive attitude and outlook towards life. Though I try to find fun in everything I am an extremely hard worker and a reliable individual. If you think I would be a good fit, I would love to meet your furry friend. :)

Whether for a day or an extended stay, I am available to play, walk, snuggle, feed, and care for the needs of your precious pet(s) at your home, if this is your preference, in order to provide minimal disruption in their familiar routine and surroundings.

I have had the pleasure throughout my life of caring for family, friends', neighbors', acquaintances', and referrals' pets, as well as my own. I am now free to care for others around the clock as my two fur babies of 19 years have crossed-over. I have since dedicated time to ensure pets without people are well socialized while waiting for their forever homes by volunteering at no-kill animal sanctuaries, imparting me the opportunity to enjoy and experience an abundance of personalities and behaviors while giving back.

The basic services I offer are:

Dog walking and play time at a base rate of $25;

Daycare or overnight care at your home for a base rate of $65/$85, respectively;

Pet sitting not limited to doggies;

General house sitting.

Note: I love cats and offer cat sitting as well as dog sitting! I'm happy to stay at your house or visit your kitty while you're away.


In addition to providing update photos of your pet(s) while they are in my care, I also can provide more specialized photography of your "precious paws".

Hi, my name is Ella. I'm currently a student at SBCC and work part time at Cottage Hospital. I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and own a dog (who lives with my mom in Florida) and two cats who live with me. My dog recently had surgery and I had to give her medicine both orally and by injection so I'm comfortable doing this if you need me to. One of the reasons I want to take care of your pet is to be surrounded by more animals because they bring a lot of joy to my life! I only have classes 3 times a week and I work for no more than 8 hours once a week so aside from that, your pet wont be alone for more than 4 hours. Aside from having pet owning experience, I've been pet sitting overnight for about 7 years and volunteered at the North Miami Beach Animal Shelter and I truly love it.

I am a collegiate soccer player at Westmont College who enjoys an active lifestyle and all things animals. I have been an animal lover my whole life and have personally owned and cared for rescue dogs, cats and a hamster in my life. They are what I miss most at college. I enjoy long hikes in the hills with dogs or some fun catch on the beach with dogs. When at home I love playing with you pets and at the end of the day cuddles. Hi! I'm Jessica and have always been a huge animal lover. Not only have I had pets my whole life and worked for numerous families and friends caring for their pets, but I have professional experience caring for animals. A few of the organizations that I have volunteered for are the Humane Society, Santa Barbara Zoo, and the Santa Barbara Marine Mammal Center.

My home is a minute walk from Shoreline Park and Leadbetter Beach, so you can be confident that your dog will get some quality outdoors time, whether they need a long run, walk, or a good game of fetch! I am also more than happy to take energetic pooches to off-leash parks if the owner is comfortable.

Between walks, your dog will have the house and yard available. Our lot is 6,000 square feet so there is plenty of room to run around! We have a yard that is fully fenced with lots of toys and an open space of the living room that always ends up being the puppy play area :)

I guarantee your dog will love their time staying in a house with a yard and the beach close by. I will treat your pup like my own with lots of love and follow any specific guidelines you have for your pet regarding diet, leashes, exercise needs, training, preferred sleeping arrangements, allowed on furniture, etc.

My name is Brandi B. I have been a Professional Dog Walker and Pet Sitter for 11yrs now, and an animal caregiver and lover for life! I've walked and cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and other pets from all over Los Angeles, Malibu, and Santa Barbara.
I currently live in the Mesa area of Santa Barbara with my boyfriend and 1 dog Billie Holiday (9yr old Terrier/Chihuahua mix) rescue. My loves :)
We have a small-medium size fenced in back yard for everyone to hang out and play in. We walk our dogs daily and live very close to the beach(5 min walk)...so we do a lot of beach walks with the dogs, and we also do canyon hikes for the super active dogs.(at owner's discretion). Also, if your dog requires a private walk, we can do that if you let us know. We enjoy playing with them as much as they enjoy playing with us. We treat our pets as family. :)
For the safety of all, we only host dogs that we have met on a Meet n Greet, and get along well with other dogs. We normally do not take on more than 3 guest dogs,for overnight hosting so everyone gets full attention, a good nights rest, and TLC. They are all welcome to sleep anywhere in the house.
We host up to 5 dogs max. for daycare only, not over night.
We do give discounts for extended stays(over 1 week), and weekly daycare.

**PLEASE NOTE**
*The $60 rate is for a 24hr stay (from time of drop-off to pick-up).
For example, if you drop your pet off at 9am, then the pick-up should be 9am the following day (unless otherwise pre-arranged).
An extra daycare fee of up to $41 will be added through a Custom Quote for care giving time 2hrs beyond the 24hr period.

** We also can do check in's, walks, or day sitting in your hotel room if you are just visiting the SB area and it's surrounding cities.
