I love animals--cats, dogs, horses (okay--not for the City), rabbits, birds and small rodents. I grew up with five dogs, three cats and 27 (yes!) peacocks, four emus, two pheasants and a dozen geese. Riding horses was also a key part of my youth, so I am familiar and comfortable with very different animal personalities.

I currently have two small chihuahuas--Stella and Starla (my Little Monsters) and we have a lovely home. San Francisco is an amazing place for walks and for sniffs, and with all the hills a great place to stay fit.

Prior to adopting my pups (or my "bubbies", as I call them), I volunteered with the SPCA on Fillmore (formerly Pets Unlimited) and went through training classes for obedience.

A typical day begins with snuggles--also, I cook for my own pups, rather than using canned food--so we have a meal heavy in protein, with some veggies mixed in. The most fun thing are walks, as there is so much to see in the City, and while the pups may not appreciate the view, they love the variety of smells.

I please do require that your pup is house trained, non-aggressive, and a small breed to care for overnight. Larger breeds are fine for walking and care in your home, as I've always had German Shepherds and Newfoundlands and British Mastiffs, so am very comfortable with these larger breeds.

I work at Pinterest and have been taking care of my dog (Yoshi) for 11 years. I dog-sit my mother's two dogs and my sister's two dogs frequently. My apartment recently notified that me I cannot board dogs anymore therefore until I move apartments, please see my other available services. I am nurturing by nature and have always had a passion and love for dogs.

I am a professional in the non-profit field with more than 15 years experience in education, including 2 year leading the STAR Ecostation, an exotic animal rescue and museum outside of Sacramento, California; 6 years with the California Department of Fish and Game, including enforcement and Wildlife Management; 3 years with the Sacramento Zoo as a Zoo Camp teacher; many years with a variety of museums, outdoor schools and camps, managing animal collections and handling animal care. On a personal level, I have cared for more than 50 animals in my own household, including our current dogs (Hammie and Dwight), reptiles and amphibians, fish, invertebrates, small and medium sized mammals, tropical birds and parrots. I am also trained and registered for Wildlife First aid and Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation.

I take animal care seriously and truly enjoy meeting, learning about and caring for animals of all shapes and sizes! I truly have no restrictions for reasonable requests and I am happy to discuss your needs! Our current pups both have unique issues that require special care, something we have experience with! Hammie is a rescue and was formerly abused, neglected and was abandoned 3 times....he is also food aggressive. Dwight is special needs and happens to be deaf and seeing impaired.

Hi There!

I have a beautiful happy 3 year old Shit-zu Chihuahua mix, named Coconut. She is shy at first but opens up eventually to new dogs. Coconut trusts me and knows I wouldn't lead her wrong. I live a pretty active lifestyle. There are 2 parks near my apartment where I take my dog jogging and playing everyday. Weekends are usually spent outdoors going to the lake, hiking, or running errands. Pets have been in my home since I was a toddler. Growing up my family owned cats and birds. I raised fish for about 9 years as well.

Though I am not licensed as a professional dog trainer, I have taken a couple dog training courses. Coconut has a whole quiver of tricks. I would say I am pretty good at training trick foundations, if that is something you are interested in or working on.

I haven't met a dog I didn't like. I would love to meet yours.

I just moved to San Francisco to find a more satisfying recruiting job. I've been working from home the last 3 years, running my own recruiting business.

I am a retired educator and have had dogs most of my adult life. I have always trained my dogs, starting them in puppy kindergarten (for socialization), followed by basic obedience. My more challenging dogs had "post graduate studies." I raised two chow chows, known for being willfully disobedient. My other dogs included standard poodles, a rottie, and a Portuguese Water dog. Additionally I adopted an abandoned cat who live happily with my dogs for nearly 15 years. I am unable to have a dog here in Sn Francisco, but volunteer 3-4 hours a week at the SF SPCA. I have had several hours of training in order to work with puppies as well as adult dogs. My volunteer time at the SPCA is the highlight of my week.

I am currently not a dog owner but walk and watch over dogs and cats of friends and family. I am caring, attentive and patient and would provide a welcoming home to your beloved pet. I currently live in a one bedroom apartment and the pets would be able to roam freely and sleep where they please. I love going for long walks so they may be walked to Crissy field to run along the beach, as well as to the closer dog friendly parks in my neighborhood such as Lafayette Park and Grace Cathedral Park. Hello! My name is Rylee and I am from the Central Valley. I have always been around animals since I can remember. I grew up on a farm with horses, cattle, pigs and a lot of dogs! My father was part of the Sheriffs K-9 department for 19 years and is training dogs for a private company. My boyfriend Eko and I are serious animal lovers. We are seriously in love with our fur baby Chloe. The little ray of sunshine is an 8lbs Rat Terrier. While she is the sweet heart of the house, we all enjoy either fostering or sitting an awesome Pupstar!.

-Monday-Friday we will take at least one 60mins or longer walk daily as well as 2-4 small walks through the day (except rainy days)
*Chloe's favorite strolls are Alamo Square(under construcstion), Franklin Park, Golden Gate Park, Laffeyette Park, Panhandle, Urban Walks, Mission Dolores park,or Buena Vista Hill.
- On the weekends we hop in the car and go for long hikes/walks all over the Bay Area (Unless your doggie gets car sick, we take long walks around the neighborhood).
*Chloe's Favorite Hikes- Marin Headlands, Ocean Beach, Glen Canyon, Fort Funston, Fort Mason/Marina Green/Crissy Field, Tilden Park in Oakland and many more.
-For dogs that just need to play and run, if you are comfortable with it, We like to take the dogs to Douglass park, Mary's park, Randall park, all are off leash enclosed dog parks with lots of friends to play with.
-Snuggling is our favorite!! We have a heated doggie bed, lots of lush soft blankets, A Super soft rug that the pups go crazy for. And there's always room for four in our big bed.
- Fun toy's and yummy treats.
*Chloe's recommends are the dried chicken breast treats and the heated blanket. Her favorite game is tag.
- We treat our pupstars like rock stars, only filtered water, organic safe treats with few ingredients, Natural and safe cleansing products, lots of fresh air, and lots of attention!!
-Our home is Pupstar proof. We make sure to keep all garbage and chemicals safe and locked up. No food is left out. And I make sure to hide wires before the guest arrives.
-Our guests are always kept on leash and are in the sole responsibility of myself or Eko, my boyfriend.
-We will always do what is best for our guest and keep a transparent conversation with their owners.
(I completely understand how difficult it is to find someone you trust to take excellent care or your loving companion. I take it very seriously)
-While we love all doggies but cannot have dogs who bark a lot or pee in the house.

We do ask that you let us know all about your fur baby. In order to give the best care we like to know what your dog likes, hates, gets into (Garbage, wires). Do they bark at big dogs? Bikes, skateboards? Are they allowed on the bed in your home? Do they get a lot of treats or no treats thought the day. We want to make sure that your dog is getting the same care as at home. We also want to ensure that we know your dogs triggers and are able to cross the street if there is a big dog coming. Like we said before, we always want to be cautious, putting safety as a top priority!

A Bit About Us
Eko and I are both San Francisco, born and raised. I have been a nanny/babysitter/dog sitter for the last 10-15 years. I have a bachelors degree in Environmental Studies and am currently pursuing my masters in Early Childhood Education. Eko works for Genentech in a lab on the night shift. Either Eko or I are home most of the day except when I am in class or we step out for a movie or date night. Where Eko is home during the day I am home at night, so your pup will never really be alone! We both love the great outdoors, little people, pups, great food, traveling, and couldn't live without our friends, family and our little fur baby, Chloe.
We are extremely responsible and will keep your furry baby safe and happy. We will always error on the side of caution. We will treat your fur baby as if they are our own. We can only have one extra pupstar at a time so your pup will get a lot of attention.

History with Dog Care
We started taking care of dogs though our good friend who owned a dog walking company. Whenever she was full she would trust her client to me! However, her business was doing so well, she sold her business to travel the world for two years.
