Hi, my name is Michelle and I'm here with my dog, Mighty Mouse. We love going for leisurely walks around Lake Merritt and other parks in the area. I have experience with taking care of my own dog for years, as well as for friends, family and foster dogs. I hate leaving Mighty Mouse behind when I have to travel so I know how it feels for other pet parents to do so. We'll provide updates and take lots of pictures to put your mind at ease.

If you want someone reliable, attentive, responsive and adoring to love up and take excellent care of your animal (cats and chickens too!) while you’re away I’m your girl. I don’t host in my own home but am available for stays of five or more days in yours. I grew up with two amazing dogs (and several cats) and have been the go-to pet-sitter for my circle of friends and family for many years. I'm honest and trustworthy and will take the same thoughtful care of your home as I do with mine. I am versatile and can be puppy-playful as well as slow and easy with older dogs. I'm a writer, devoted auntie to 5 nieces and student of African metaphysics who loves nature and the ocean (and I have a car if needed). References available upon request. Please note that I don't sit Pits, my base rate is $50/day (I charge extra for additional pets) and my holiday base rate is $60/day - thank you!

My love for animals started at a very young age, as I grew up on a farm with every pet imaginable (and even some you couldn't imagine!).

One of my greatest pleasures is building relationships with my clients and their four-legged family members. You can leave your fur-children (and your home) in my care, knowing that I will treat them all as though they are my own.

I am an extreme dog lover and would be thrilled to take care of yours while you are away. Unfortunately I am not able to have dogs in my apartment, but I can sit for yours overnight at your place, take them for walks/runs, or stop by for a check-in and snuggles (I love dog snuggles!).
I grew up with dogs but have not been able to have one for several years due to my college schedule and work responsibilities. I constantly crave dog energy and affection however, and now that my work hours have gotten easier I am able to spend my evenings and weekends caring for dogs.
I am located in downtown Oakland and enjoy jogging around Lake Merritt, along the bay trail, or through any of the beautiful trails nearby. Typically I am available after 6 pm and during lunchtime (if near downtown Oakland) on weekdays. Most weekends I am completely open.

Dianne is an energetic country girl from Arkansas, who enjoys life, hiking, dancing, dogs, horses, wildlife, and people! Her major is Education,MA and a Former Art Teacher/Motion Picture/Screenwriting- Her background with dogs have been in Veterinarian Med, working with many Veterinarians and most recently with the SF Animal Care & Control as a Dog Volunteer and previously with SF SPCA as a Dog Attendant and volunteer.
Current Trainings: DART/Pet CPR/NERT/process of updating CPR... Her past dog walking/sitting schedule included, but not limited to dogs from Nob Hill and Union Square Hotels and Businesses! What makes Dianne special as a Pet Professional is her sensitivity to what a dog needs that may or may not be obvious. Dianne"s animal hospital and clinic experience has trained her to nurture the whole dog and to minimize canine stress and anxiety.
I also offer house sitting if you do not have pets, just select "sitting" services when making a request.

We are a very loving and pet friendly home looking for more doggie friends. I have a 5 yr old female pit mix named Moose who loves to be social and travel in packs. She's very gentle with small dogs, often will lay on the floor and try to play on their level. She loves to play with big dogs too, but has very good recall and self control (meet & greet required).

I have had dogs as pets and been the primary caretaker for over 20 years. I feel very comfortable around dogs and packs of dogs, able to control and offer kindness to each individual.

We love going to Point Isabel or any hiking in the area, Redwood regional, Sibley, Tilden.

All dog friends are allowed on furniture and beds and we like to snuggle and nap together. We can't wait to make your dogs a part of our home!

Dogs are fascinating and give me great joy. I've walked hundreds and honestly never met one I didn't love, even the "bad" ones. I just joined DVC (Nov 2016) and it has been great. I live right off Lake Merritt which I walk everyday. If my rate seems a little high know that I offer full-time 24/7 high quality care in my safe comfy home. Every dog is loved unconditionally. My friend Julia is almost always here so double the attention!

I will take difficult dogs (leash aggression, separation anxiety etc) but might have to charge more. For small easy dogs I might be able to charge less but my rate here is what I usually charge.

I'm a teacher and longtime Bay Area owner of bookstores who now works at home full time in a huge 1920's three-bedroom apartment two blocks to the lake where I have lived for 11 years. Currently studying dog training methods and pursuing a new p/t career as a dog trainer (using “motivational” and “relationship” methods based on praise), I look forward to meeting your dogs.

Dogs & humans have an ancient and unique connection and I'm sensitive to each dog's unique character--their fears, needs, eccentricities, disabilities etc. I'm careful about their safety, dogs never get loose and are always on the leash. Their diet/hydration is important, no bones or crap on the street will be snatched! My home is non-toxic, cleaned and kept flea-free with vinegar and baking soda, I'm very attentive to all this. Your loved ones will rarely (if ever) be left alone and will receive exorbitant amounts of affection and attention.

I'm home all day & night and stay sane with many neighborhood walks so it's easy to give every dog at least four walks, I love wrestling and playing.

I can accept one unvaccinated dog but I can’t accept two or more unvaccinated dogs together unless companions.

I've owned dogs most of my life and for three years walked many hundreds of dogs for the Sonoma Humane Society where I was known as the go-to guy for difficult and large dogs. I'm physically strong and can handle large dogs and carry senior/disabled dogs up and down stairs and in and out of my car. I have a doggie seat-belt and small crates if desired.

I offer individual dog walking that is fun & playful in the Oakland Area as well as house/pet sitting for all pets. Our companions are always happiest and can manage the separation from loved ones better when they are in their own space. I can also care for your house plants and garden.
