Dogs receive at least 4-5 WALKS per day to a local park. There are many local trails, parks and we live near Woodbridge north lake.

My 8-year-old son provides lots of TLC (belly rubs) and opportunities for your pup to socialize with other dogs or kids.

My rates reflect/include care for 2 SMALL PETS (or 1 medium or 1 large) - walks/care/love - In Your Home. I've cared for almost every size and personality dog (and cat) for over 30 years; giant to tiny in size; abused, aggressive, separation anxiety, health afflicted, fearful and high energy! I'm First Aid/CPR Certified to look after pets at any age or health stage.

Personal Background: Born and raised in Southern California. I've been owned by multiples of pets always - from Irish Wolfhound, Rottweiler, Bouvier, Retriever, Mixes, Cocker Spaniel, Weimeraner, Terrier dogs and more - to rabbits, hamsters and reptiles! Volunteer work includes rescue organizations, animal shelters and Petfinder.

Overnight stay? 11-12 hours of care, generally from 8pm to 7am. Or we can discuss a customized schedule that suits your pets' needs and yours that includes day and evening. I am self contained, have my own sleeping kit and everything else needed to leave your home undisturbed.

Health Ailments: I am experienced in caring for dogs with health challenges. I will keep your veterinarian's information in my contacts, along with an excellent 24 hour animal hospital in Tustin (or the one you provide me).

Coyote Watch: The presence of coyotes is always in the forefront of my mind while caring for your pet. I own an air horn, red pepper spray, whistle and stick ready for use if needed.

For 17 years I have treated all my dogs as if they were my children and I will happily do the same for yours. I have owned Very Large dogs: Irish Wolfhound, Labrador, Bouvier-Mix, Weimeramer/Wolfhound mix and as small as a Terrier. I have owned rescues and pure breeds of various temperaments and am experienced with dogs that are not trusting. I also have extensive experience with post-surgical dogs and their special needs. I am coyote tested and carry both a whistle and air horn and remain calm but on the offensive, which is very important.

What You Can Expect From Me: When we first meet I will introduce myself to your pet(s) and make him, her or them feel comfortable in my presence so we can begin a connection. I will then take thorough notes on your instructions and expectations during your time away so I will be replicating their normal day to keep them comfy. I take photos of your dogs on our walks and send them to you to keep you close in your absence along with a brief review of our walk including energy level and stool condition. I have strong leash control and will always be aware of any neighborhood ‘trigger-dogs’ you describe as well as any of your dogs personal quirks. They will eat on time and I will keep them engaged (minimizes separation anxiety) and I will always be available if you need to check in by text or phone. When you return you will think you never left.

Personal: I was born in California and raised and schooled in the Newport Beach/Costa Mesa/Irvine area before finishing my schooling at USC. I was raised with animals (cats and a rabbit) but fell in love with dogs many years ago and have had multiple dogs for each of the past 17 years. You will find me to be punctual, considerate and trustworthy and respectful of you and your pets. I do this because I love being in the presence of animals!

I am an owner of a bearded collie, Belle, and a member of two CA Bearded Collie dog clubs, or should I say we are our dog's owner:) We spend lots of time walking in our area , especially Woodbridge Lake, Back Bay, Crystal Cover and Balboa Island as well as other parks. We take Belle and all her friends that stay with us on long walks and fun activities.

We are very caring and any visitor has the run of the home. Your dog will be happy when you return after their stay with us. We keep in touch with you if you like while you are away. Even Skype with your pet if you like:)

If you have a cat/cats and would like care in your home while you are away, I would be glad to help to care for him/her/them in your home on a daily basis. Love cats and kittens too!

We also play classical music in our home..makes us and the dogs happy! Sometimes news programs also to keep the puppies up on current events!!

My home is a great place for all puppies and very open and accepting of all dogs or puppies. Since I am a student I will be within my house for majority of the time. Therefore my break times that i take from studying I will walk them and refill their water/food bowls per request.

Neighborhood is Pet friendly. Lots of neighbors have pets of their owns. A lot of grass and bushes for doggies to do their business. Along with nice walkways.

**What to expect**
Enjoy cuddling, long walks, socializing with my puppy. I HAVE lots of toys for my puppy and my puppy seems to be very playful when sharing toys

Prefer to know ahead of time if the dog is potty trained or is still on Pee Pads. Will provide Pee pads inside the house for dogs who are still on pee pads or prefer pee pads

IMPORTANT: I am available for dog-sitting in YOUR home during the week, and only available for dog-boarding in MY home during weekends.

Since I work full-time, I am available to walk your pups for potty breaks during the morning, lunch time, and evening. Constant supervision won't be possible with my schedule.

Hello ! My name is Juan and i am a 26 year old therapist with avid love for animals!
I live in an apartment in the Irvine area where your pets will have Tons of places to go and explore ( not to mention, extremely safe environment) Also , a great apartment where dogs can move freely and rest if they are not feeling like playing at the huge park across the street, or going on a hike.

I treat all animals as if they were mine, as if they were family !! So asides from jumping on couches and beds they will be treated with care, respect and love. (and tons of treats and tummy rubs )

***I am sad to announce that as of June 18, 2016, Dante is no longer with us. It will take a lot of mental energy and emotions to overhaul my profile because of this major change in my life. As of that date, there is no resident dog anymore. As of Feb. 1, 2017, I am no longer in NYC.***

Dante and I used to live in a dog-friendly studio in Hell's Kitchen, NYC. We had great walks in the morning and evening, and frequented local dog parks several times a week. I have been doing pet care for over 6 years - the dogs in the pictures are my most frequent guests.

I have since moved back to the place where I grew up, and am looking to start getting dogs back in my life. I miss their smiling faces and their unconditional love. I enjoy being active with dogs - no matter how many - and I always loved meeting new furry friends.

I am a non-smoker, and made sure that my own pooch (and guests) were well exercised and socialized. As I was quite obsessive over how Dante was doing while I was gone, I know to keep parents up to date on how their pup is via photos/videos/emails. Don't worry about your dog's size or age - Dante is a giant and lived to see 13.5 years old! There's no age, size, disability or personality quirk that I can't handle, so all you have to do is just ask!
