I have always had such a strong love for animals, especially dogs. In the past I have had a Golden Retriever and a Pointer, currently I have a Cocker Spaniel and a Rat Terrier and also 2 cats.

Hi there! My name is Laura. I've been a dog mom for 30+ years. I'm dedicated to animals. I treat them like they were my kids! A typical day is going out for an active walk, going to dog park, and of course lots of playing and cuddling! We have healthy treats and potty breaks throughout the day. My pets are all indoors and free roaming. You can count on me to give your pets the love and attention they deserve throughout their stay at my home!

I have been an animal lover since I was a child. My husband and I nurture this same affection for animals in our son as well. I have volunteered at vet clinics and advocate for ASPCA, No kill and second chance shelters for years. My family has always had pets but I learned the importance of animal adoption when I adopted my first dog, Jori, at 15. Before our son was born, my husband and I decided to adopt our 2nd dog together and formed our little pack. A few months after our son was born we wanted him to have that same love for animals as we do and adopted our 3rd dog to grow up with him. We eat, sleep and play together in a well controlled pack environment. In addition we also frequent the dog park and beach to get out some of that extra energy. I have around a total of 15 years of experience with reptiles, fish, mammals of all sorts as well as birds.

Hi and welcome to Pet Pals Paradise in Chula Vista, CA. NOTE: PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE SECTION AS CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS AND EXPECTATIONS ARE DEFINED FOR YOU, THE DOG OWNER!

My partner and I have been caring for dogs for over 40 years, we love all breeds, sizes and temperaments, so long as they can hang out with our three resident dogs, K.C. Cali & Layla. K.C. is a 5 year old Cocker/Maltese mix and Cali is a 12 year old Cocker/Terrier mix! Layla is a 18 month old Mini-Dachshund.

Our home sits on about a 1/2 acre lot and has a pawtastic backyard that is perfect for your pups to lounge in while you are on vacation. Each Vacay day for your pup includes walks around our neighborhood if desired, plus unlimited indoor/outdoor playtime at home. If you board over the weekend, we will also include outings to the local dog parks if they are good with other dogs! There is also a large in ground swimming pool in the backyard and if your dog loves the water, this will be perfect for them. We are also very careful with those dogs that don't like the pool and will guard them with limited space away from the pool if that is needed.

There are separate fenced off areas that can be setup in the backyard too if we need to make separate areas for individual dogs too. We also have individual outdoor fenced playpens to use to separate puppies or just give some private space to your dog if needed.

The interior of the house consists of 4 bedrooms; all have doggie beds in them or they can sleep on the beds. Again this is a "Dog Friendly" household and our dogs will definitely show your dogs all the special places within to hang out and play or rest! The floors are all hardwood or tile; so if they do happen to have an accident, it is easily cleaned up. There is also a very large front room where they can hang out and watch TV with us! The house is all on one floor, so the little ones won't have to worry about any staircase issues!

We are also able to supervise your pups 24x7 and provide transportation to a vet in case of a pup-mergency.

Inquire via message prior to your stay if any of these additional services are required. We use outside resources for many of these services and will need time to schedule and book these specialists. *NOTE: For Training & Grooming rates. These are by appointment only and available with my personal dog trainer and dog groomer, so booking appointments for these must be done ahead of time with at least a week or two notice to me if these services are needed. These rates are also determined based on your needs, so let's discuss all that you want and we can agree on services requested, rates and needs ahead of time!

As stated above, we have three small dogs of our own who love to socialize with other dogs. They have a large 4 bedroom house to play in all day and their very own doggy door to come and go as they please into their very own fenced in very large back yard. Their water dog friends especially love the large swimming pool in the back yard!

I am a work from home dog parent with no other kids in the house except my own 3 "Fur Children"! We love special play dates with other fur children, and with a great day of playing, we know the sleeping hours are usually very peaceful with snoring dogs!

We love taking photos and videos so you'll be getting lots of regular "pupdates" of all your pet’s fun activities! :)

All guest dogs are required to wear a Collar: your dog should be wearing ID tags labeled with your current contact info.

Normal business hours are 8am to 7pm daily.
Overnight stays are 24 hours and are to be picked up before 9 am the following morning. Daycare is 8 hours; up to 10 hours with a pre- approved agreement of time for pickup. We are flexible about drop off and pickup times for daycare, we just ask for you to communicate those needs before booking.

If you will not be picking up your pup by 9am the following day you will be charged for an additional daycare until pick up at 7pm closing or an overnight charge if not picked up by 7pm. Please let me know your requirements in advance.

+Reservations are on a first-come first-served basis and numbers are limited. Best to book early so you lock in your travel dates & ensure availability.

Pups should be in good general health. We cannot accept any dogs that are coughing or sneezing, have vomited or had diarrhea in the last 72 hours. If this is the case, please call me in advance to discuss the specific details of your dog’s situation. For dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 60 days, we require a veterinarian’s certification of good health prior to being admitted.

NOTE: In the interests of our safety and the safety of the other dogs for whom we care, we will NOT accept any dog that shows dominance, doesn't play nicely with others, is aggressive to humans & other dogs and/or will not obey basic commands when given.

+ Must be current on core vacs, rabies & flea treatments please bring paperwork.
+ Must exhibit good canine manners
+ Adult dogs must be neutered
+ Must be outdoor potty trained
+ No diggers/fence jumpers/counter-surfers, please
+ Dogs should know the basic commands: sit, down, stay, come, off and leave it.

I work for myself as a web developer and miss living with dogs, but can't have any in my apartment. So I can watch yours!

I'm available for check in's and dog walks. But since I work for myself, I have a lot of flexibility and can watch your house while you're away as well. As long as you have Wifi and a desk I can work from, I'm set.

I walk or run 2-4 miles a day, so if your dog likes to get out, I'm your guy.

Im am currently a full time student at San Diego State University, and currently looking to occupy my time with pets. I love all animals, and absolutely enjoy taking care of them! I currently own a dog who is older (13 years of age: half lab/ half chow chow) and have taken care of him since birth. I have experience with all types of dogs and welcome all breeds of animals, I have open availability for weekends and weekdays! (:

I am an animal and especially a dog lover! I love to be around pets and be part of their life just a much as they are a huge part in ours. I have a dog at home and know ins and outs of caring for our best friends. Although I won't be offering services in my home, I will be dog sitting for your cuddly furry friends in your home. Such services include walks, baths, check ins and even staying in y our home overnight to care for your pet.
When I go care for your furry friend, I will arrive check in with you, and see if you have any specific instructions to be followed for your pet. Upon that we will go for a walk and if you have a dog park near you we will walk there for sure and enjoy maybe a game of fetch or anything else your dog enjoys! (And if you have a puppy lots and lots of play time will be given!) You will get a great fun loving dog sitter and your pet will get a fun friend and lots of love!

I have been surrounded by pets my entire life! I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, gerbils, fish, turtles, chickens, and even snakes! Currently at home, we have two little dogs that we adore and have fun with everyday.. They are our four legged children. We work from home and often take the dogs wherever we go, but if that is not possible we only leave them for very short periods of time. They have free roam of the house, but can often be found next to us on the sofa or in the many dog and human beds that are available. We love taking them on outings to the park or dog beach if the day allows, and go for a nice walk at least once a day. We believe that every animal needs love attention and to know they are an important member of the family, healthy, happy and full of love!
