I'm a pharmacy school student here in Birmingham and had to leave my dogs at home when I came to school. So I thought what better way could I get some doggie loving in away from home than to take care of other fur baby as if they were my own. I'm 100 dog obsessed and would be thrilled to help you with your four legged friend. I've always been around dogs and have take care of a lot of dogs for clients/family and friend over the years. I do live in an apartment complex but we have our own private dog park here as well as huge open grass area. I love going to the park, especially dog parks and would love to have some fun with your fur baby. Also since I'm in school I have pretty flexible hours during week days for the most part!

Hello and thanks for checking out my profile. I am natural born animal lover and love pet sitting. I have had dogs in my life since I can remember and cannot imagine life without them. I volunteered with Do Dah Day, Inc., a not-for-profit organization benefiting homeless animals in Birmingham, for seven years. I have rescued and placed dogs.

Jeremiah and I have a peaceful, clean home with a big back yard and dog door. Dogs are allowed on furniture. I want everyone to feel cozy, comfortable and loved. We enjoy walks in the neighborhood, hiking at Ruffner Mountain Nature Park and playing at the dog park regularly! Jeremiah is a gentle pup who is a rescue. He is a German Shepard/hound mix and loves to play and run, He is neutered and current on vaccinations.

It's very important to me that you know your baby(ies) are safe, comfortable and loved and will get whatever special attention they require.

About- I am in currently a UAB student getting a degree in mechanical engineering. I live in an apartment complex located past Walmart on Lakeshore drive.

Experience- I grew up in a house full of animals. At home I have a border collie/springer spaniel mix and a lab (along with two cats). The lab and one of the cats were always my responsibility when I lived there. I also would take care of my sisters pets whenever they would go out of town. I also have been dog/house sitting for "Pepper's Place" for over a year now, and I absolutely love it! My roommate currently has two sweet dogs that are about a year old and I also have a two year old male cat who does good with dogs around.

A typical day for the dogs - I can take care of dogs that will need medication or any other type of special need. I can take them on walks, to take them to parks, or anywhere else you normally take your dog!
The only thing is I am in college so there will be at least a few hours a day that the dog will need to stay at the home by itself. The longest I would be away is anywhere between 1-4 hours.

I am also available for walks, baths, and transportation or whatever other services you might need, just contact me first and we can work something out!

I live in the Grandview area, but am happy to come to your house and transport dogs to any of the nearby parks such as Homewood Park, the Mountain Brook Jemison Trail, Oak Mountain Park, or Red Mountain Park for an outing.

**Special rules or requests**
If your dog has any special requirements or is aggressive toward other dogs, strangers, children, or has any type of anxiety, please let me know to prevent any unwanted incidents. I have no breed or size restrictions.

Hey there! I am 24 years old and work in an ad agency. I do live alone, but I have a Pomeranian named Chunky Monkey, and a cat, Moose Tracks (Moose for short)! I love my little babes as much as can be and wouldn't be able to do life without them! I am fortunate enough to work in a pet friendly environment as well, so I am an expert at all things puppy love, and constantly around our furry counterparts.

**About my home/services**
I live in an apartment, but welcome any furries to come stay for a while! Though there is no open outdoor space, I do provide walks multiple times a day. If your dog is more adventurous, there is a hiking trail behind my building that is dog friendly! If not, we can always walk a different route. I do have a patio where Monkey and Moose love to lounge, and if that's your pup's style, they are more than welcome to nap in the sunshine, as well. I will never leave your fur-baby longer than two hours (unless I am at work - but I usually go home over lunch to let Monkey out, anyway!) and will provide maximum love and cuddles. I will also come stay at your house, if that is where you feel more comfortable leaving your pet! I am fairly flexible. Only want someone to check in and take the babes on a walk? I'm your girl!

**About my neighborhood**
I live in an apartment complex off of Highway 280. I am nestled at the bottom of two pretty steep hills, so my home feels safe and cozy. There are lots of other dogs around, as well! (And maybe even a community cat or two)

**What to expect**
Ahh, the activities. Well, what does your pup love? I am only a ten minute drive from the lovely Veteran's Park, where I often frequent with Monkey on a bi-weekly basis. We can run and jump and play! Not your dog's style? That's cool, too. I'm all about some Netflix and puppy snuggles on the couch.

I love to take walks with Monkey, and I never rush a dog during their leisure time. If your pup is a little more active, we can check out the nature trail, or go for a jog around Veteran's! This is their vacation time, so let's make it special and pampering.

**Special rules or requests**
The only preferences I have are that your animal interact well with smaller dogs and cats. I don't have any breed limitations (I love them all!) but sometimes Monkey is mistaken as a toy by others! Of course, any medications or special instructions will be necessary, and emergency numbers are always helpful! If I am simply going to check on your fur-baby, please leave me detailed instructions as to the care of your pet!

I worked as a certified Pet Care Associate and have experience caring for animals of all shapes, sizes, and species. I love learning new things about the animal world and have a passion for keeping the animals in my care the happiest and healthiest they can be! In addition, I have owned reptiles, small animals, cats, dogs, and am very comfortable working with horses as well. I don't discriminate when it comes to dog breeds, and I have never been able to decide whether I am a cat person or a dog person. Is both an option?

**About my home/services**
My apartment is small and easily sectioned off to prevent pets from reaching areas they shouldn't have access to. I have a carpeted living room and dining area as well as a wood-paneled kitchen that pets would be free to roam in. That being said, I prefer to visit pets at their home instead of mine. They will be more comfortable, at ease in their own territory, and I have no problem navigating new spaces.

**About my neighborhood**
My apartment complex is fairly large and winding, but I am lucky enough to have a large grassy area directly behind my building, complete with trees, a pond, ducks, and wind chimes. My apartment complex is built along a winding river and has plenty of grassy areas to explore.

**What to expect**
Walks, lounging by the pond, snoozing indoors, relaxing on the couch, watching Animal Planet, or whatever other activities a pet particularly enjoys.

**Special rules or requests**
I definitely prefer to provide care at the owner's home, as the owner will always be equipped with anything and everything needed to care for their pet. Other than that, I am very flexible and need only Sunday mornings and evenings off to go to church.

Hi, my name is Octavia. I am 18 yrs old and I absolutely love dogs!!! we've all heard the saying that dogs are a man's bestfriend and I myself can say that it is absolutely true. I am an owner of a box mix (pitbull, mastiff). We've had her since she was about a month old so I can deal with any sized dog. I love to spoil dogs and love on them. I just think that watching dogs can be a cool and fun way to make money.

My name is Leigh Anne and I have been an animal lover my entire life. I have just been remarried and my husband is allergic to dogs so for the first time in my life I have not had a pet to take care of and love. I have thought about pet sitting for some time but was not sure how to get started in this business. I have a Masters degree in school counseling but because I have young children I am on an extended leave from working full-time .
