Hello all! I am a pet parent to a 3.5 year old Cocker Spaniel. I love dogs! And would love to take care of yours, offering the best environment and services possible for your furbaby. I have had pets since 1990 and have had dogs since 1993. I have a lot of patience and a very nurturing and gentle disposition, however I do have a firm "mom voice" that my dog easily recognizes when she's being naughty. I know that there is a lot of demand for in-home pet-sitting in Anchorage and not so much supply. From personal experience I can say that knowing someone is there specifically to look after your dog while you are traveling is a huge weight lifted. Travel, whether it's business or pleasure, is stressful enough without worrying about leaving your furry family member behind. I look forward to taking care of your pets so that you can focus on your vacation or work with peace of mind.

I am a 26 year old female, with alot of experience working with, and caring for dogs, and cats of all breeds. I am currently employed in the US Air Force as a military working dog handler. I do offer obedience training for your dog. My home has a medium sized yard with privacy fencing. I do require that your dog is crated if they stay over night. Although, if your pet does well outside of the crate I do not mind allowing them free range of the house. Please keep in mind I am a professional but I will care and love for your pet as you do. I appreciate a pet with all shot records and updated vet info.

Hello! I love animals and have spent most of my life around dogs. I currently live with three dogs and enjoy spending time with friends' pets. I take a true interest in what is best for the welfare of the animal. I enjoy making natural dog treats and ensuring they get their exercise through walks and games of fetch. I can be flexible to the needs of your pet and will ensure your pet is well cared for and loved just as I love my own. I truly believe that pets are family members and should be treated as such. As a pet owner, I understand the importance of knowing your pet is safe and well cared for when away from home. I want to provide that assurance so you can enjoy your time away, whether it be a vacation or a business trip.

My husband an I live together with our cat and our big lovely dog Odin. We is very friendly and loves playing with all dogs. He is not aggressive and we have never had a problem with him and other dogs.

He has played with dogs of all shapes and sizes from Yorkies Pomeranians newfoundlands and bulldogs.

We have dealt with aggressive dogs but would perfer to not watch dogs with toy or dog aggression. We can deal with food aggression.

I am a very friendly person with a decent amount of dog sitting for family and friends. I am an animal person and love playing with dogs and going on walks with them. I would take them out whenever they need it and even more just to give them some exercise throughout the day. I have two little brothers that also love dogs and could play with them as well. My back yard it pretty big with all real grass and soil. My apartment has carpet and laminated kitchen with a spacious kitchen and living room. The dogs can Would mainly be in the kitchen and living room and would sleep in the living room with a dog bed. I do not have a kennel or dog crate but I do have a gate to block them off of the other rooms. It would be a blast to dog sit and I'll looking forward to it!

Your pets can enjoy lots of daily attention and exercise when they spend time with me. I have to walk myself everyday so dogs are always welcome to join! I have a lot of free space both in side an out for playing and relaxing. If you are looking for someone to come to you I can do that easily too.

I have one mini Goldendoodle "Opie" (Male) 2yr 25 Lbs (not always home depending on what type of dogs I am sitting at moment)
Also a mini Aussiedoodle "Lavender" (Female) 1yr 30 Lbs
They are very friendly, house trained .. We have a huge gated yard and live behind South Anchorage High school! Wooded floors. We love hikes or even just walks around the neighborhood!

I offer solo walks or even walks with my dogs its completely up to you! Over night stays will be with my dogs but if that is an issue my dogs can stay at my moms house so just keep that in mind if your dog needs just a little more attention! If your pet is left alone at the house he or she will be gated off in the kitchen or roaming the house but really that just depends how you leave your pet in its home environment I will try and make the stay as normal as possible! I can also kennel your pet or leave in bathroom we will discus what is most "like home" for your pet. My backyard is completely gated off so even leaving in back yard is alright (depending on season) My dogs are both kennel trained or can be gated off or roam the house so I have everything to accommodated your pet. I prefer short hair dogs (as mine do not shed) but depending on your needs we can figure it out! This winter I only work part time so I am very flexible! All ages are fine but potty trained is must unless a puppy I am great with training! My dogs ring a bell to let us know they need to go outside so maybe I can get your dog to follow! I have past experience dealing with dogs that have anxiety as ones needing medication. My dogs are dairy, grain , wheat free the healthier the better! We love treats in our house but if your dog has restrictions that's not a problem! Sometimes we go to the Dog Swim at " k9 aquatics" so if you are interested in planning that ..that's always an option! We are always having fun!

My house has a security system that is armed at all times when I leave with cameras throughout the house I normally do a trial run for about an hour or two to see how relaxed they are when I leave to make sure their stay is without anxiety. If I am working on a day of the dogs stay I always come home for at least an hour for lunch for play time if not longer. If an emergency appears on the cameras I can leave work at a moments notice.. "3 min drive away". We are all about safety and fun!

No aggressive dogs as mine are on the smaller side as well as larger dogs example of large: Great Dane, German Shepard, Pit Bull, Weimaraner.
