I have never personally owned a dog but have been working with them at a dog daycare and boarding facility for over 3 years now. I do own cats so I am very comfortable around cats and dogs of all breeds. I also am certified in grooming and have an animal care background.

**About my home/services**
Unfortunately, at this time I cannot bring pets to my home but will gladly travel to a client's home for pet sitting, let outs, and any other care. I can offer simple grooming as I may not be able to carry all my equipment around but brush outs and nail trims can be done. Brush outs $15/30 mins of brushing and nail trims $12

**About my neighborhood**
My neighbourhood is quiet and residential. There are a few parks in close walking distance but I am willing to walk and explore areas that are familiar to the dogs in my care.

**What to expect**
I can offer all the cuddles a dog or cat needs! I will take the dogs on walks for whichever duration the client prefers. There will be playtime in a secured space, whether inside or in a fenced in yard or play area. I will make sure your dog is happy and nice and tired by the end of our time together.

**Special rules or requests**
I currently do not have a vehicle so I cannot pick up/drop off but am willing to commute to wherever I need to. I do not have specific preferences for size or breeds of dogs but please let me know of any behavioural or other limitations or needs so I can provide the best care possible.

As a former dog owner, I know that man's best friend needs someone who is attentive, energetic, and loving to care for them. I live in an apartment that is carpeted except for the kitchen and bathroom (tile). My living room and bedrooms are spacious allowing dogs to roam the area freely and easily. My roommate is also a dog-lover and will be able to assist me with my services if needed so you never have to worry about your dog being lonely! I live across the street from a park and also walking distance from Prince's Island which is the perfect place for walks. ROXY & ROVER - Located in Southview SE Calgary.

We aim to care for your furry, feathered, gilled and scaly family members with tenderness and love. There is a large off leash area very close to our home. Willing to accommodate a detailed care plan if required for your pet.

A day in our home includes lots of play, walks, freedom to roam and snuggles (of course). We also aim to clean our home and everything in it with natural non-toxic products and essential oils. During a stay here with Roxy she will spend time with them even in the backyard when they're out for quick break. See our photo gallery to see the heated shed in the yard for winter paw warm ups.

Roxy has had her dog Nikita for 15 years who is currently taking care of her father, he needs companionship through retirement. Nikita is greatly missed but she takes great care of the Old Man. Pets in the house make it a home.

We attached some photos of the Rovers that Roxy has cared for over the past 15 years, they vary in breed, size and have generally been of the furry kind. There have been many friends and family members that have requested her assistance in caring for pets while they were away from home and giving themselves the gift of being truly on vacation.

We ask pet owners to be up front about pets behaviour and pitfalls. We can be better prepared and won't refuse a pet just because they often whine or have a little extra personality, we know what to do!

I am a active and fit mid 50's male with a 16 year old daughter that adores dogs. I have been a dog owner for 30 years and we are looking to provide good care of your pet until we are ready for a new family member.

I am a home owner with a nice secured yard in a very quite and safe neighborhood with a good sized park right across the street and a huge (11 square kilometers-second largest urban park in Canada) space within walking distance and numerous off leash areas. Your companion would be treated as a family pet in our home and we want your pet to be happy and comfortable. We will provide your dog with the same care and attention as they get at home and we will follow your instructions on how you want your pet cared for carefully.

Our home is 2200 square feet and I have a good sized secured back yard if your dog is use to having a yard. We will provide your pet with walks or exercise at least three times a day even in inclement weather if so desired. We are use to all the maybe not so great joys of having a furry companion in our home (excess fur, free face washes and such) and even if your dog has some not so great habits with a heads up from you we are more than willing to host your companion.

Special request that you or your dog require are no problem and we would love to have your furry companion at our home.

I am a huge dog lover who had to put down my 15 year old husky cross in July. She was an energetic gal and we went for walks twice a day, even in minus 30 (I would wear 2 toques!). She was a rescue dog who had some aggression issues so I totally understand that some dogs need extra special care or attention.
I have received my Pet Obedience Dog Trainer certification (theory only), and have volunteered with the Humane Society both as a dog walker and assisting the trainer with weekend obedience classes. This has provided me with good experience dealing with dogs of various energy levels and needs.
I currently have a day job working Mon-Fri, so your dog would be left alone while I am at work. However, if you choose to have your pet stay with me, I would be able to go home at noon and check on themt since I work close to home.
Although I have not indicated training as one of my services (primarily because I don't feel I have enough training experience to feel comfortable charging a client), I am willing to work with your dog a little bit on any issues (at no extra charge) during the time they are in my care.
I do have a large size plastic crate as well as a large metal kennel if your dog requires kenneling at night or when I am away from home.
I live close to the Southland dog park in the SE, so if your dog is well-socialized I would love to take them there.

Myself and My Experience: Dogs have always been in my life, my family has had both big and small dogs, some from puppies, others adopted, so I am experienced with a variety of sizes and breeds from different environments. I also worked at a small dog day care, which allowed me to gain experience working with large groups of dogs, various temperaments, and breeds; I am also well versed in administering oral medication, and caring for post-surgical pets.

My Apartment and Neighbourhood: An older but very well kept 8 unit character hotel on Ogden Road SE! What my apartment lacks in size (Appr. 450sq ft. with most of the space made available) it makes up for in accessibility and comfort! My kitchen is tile, living and bed rooms are hardwood flooring. Please see photos for best idea, but it is very open, safe for your pup (Baxter approved!), I will discourage/shoo them off the bed if they get up there but the couch is dog friendly! Extensive room on the bedroom floor if your pet likes to sleep closely to someone during an overnight stay,

The backyard is a great size for your basic sniffing and personal needs, for more active pursuits there are several large leashed parks within walking distance as well as Jack Setters park (Off-leash!), and I'm more than happy to spend some time playing any favorite games your pup might have!

To confirm how pet friendly my place is; my landlord (Who lives onsite) also owns and runs Dexter's Pet Shop (http://www.dexterspetshop.ca/) which is located directly across the street for ease of access to treats! As I mentioned, my dog stays with me only part of the week, and as I'm not currently in a position to get another dog, I can offer that service to you, and I would very much love to look after your animal companion!
