Hi! My name is Julia and, during the school year, I am a high school teacher. I grew up with dogs and have cared for many throughout my life, but haven't had my own since leaving home. With my schedule, I don't have the availability (or energy) to keep a dog year-round, so doggy-sitting is the next best thing, since it lets me have some doggy friends who can fit into my schedule. I'm in pup withdrawal and would love some contact with furry friends!
I live in Malden, so anything T-accessible (especially the orange line) is very easy for me. I'm available most weeks and pretty much any weekend. I'd love to check in on your furry friend, go for walks, or go play in the park.
I can do in-home boarding for dogs under 20lbs, per my schedule and landlord.
While living in South Carolina, I was a part of a program called "Lucky Dog" that prepared shelter dogs for the domestic life. I house-trained, kennel-trained, and socialized about a dozen dogs over a 9 month span.
If you think your furry friend and I would get along, please reach out! I'm available and ready to spend some time with the happiest creatures on this planet!
