My name is Pauline, i'm a french student in Interior Design, and been living in Montreal for almost 3 years.
In every country I've lived in, I've always had pets in my life, even the unusual kind (I had a goat when i was a little girl !). My mom and I have almost always had pets of our own, but when we didn't, our friends trusted us with taking care of theirs while they were away.
I have both a little dog and a cat.
Unfortunately when i came to live in Montreal, my previous landlords were against pets in the apartment, so my mom has been taking care of them in Latvia (where she currently lives ). I see them everytime i visit her, but I miss them everyday and it breaks my heart not to have them here with me. I now moved to a new apartment in a pet-friendly neighbourhood and my landlords are too! (yay!)
I came across a DogVacay ad and thought it would be the perfect thing for me until my mom comes back to visit and brings me my babies back!
It would be a win-win situation as I love playing and caring for animals and people that dont have the time or are unable to do so with theirs for a moment can rely on me !
I live alone on the 9th floor (with elevators) in a one bedroom apartment, with a large living room and space to play and lots of green areas around the neighbourhood. During boarding, depending on the size of the dog, it will be allowed on the bed (cats are always allowed), but of course this will also depend if you have taught them not to, then i will respect that and not let them get bad habits. I would just ask that if you want me to take care of your pet at my place, that you bring their own bed/toys etc. I also don't mind coming to get them at your place if it is not too far since i don't have a car, otherwise it would be great if you could drop them directly at my place!
I'm really looking forward to meeting your furry friends and caring for them like my own! :)
