Pet care experience
I have been working with other people’s animals since I was 9 years old. I enjoy a challenge, and am at times very motivated to work on training in any dog that I encounter. Behavioral and obedience! I graduated ASU with a Biology/Psychology double major and business minor at University. I have spent summers doing internships working with veterinarians. I currently run my own pet grooming business, Paws with Claws Pet Spa, which I stated from home at age 14 and opened the salon after graduating at 22 years old.

When I am watching pets I make sure they are not in distress if possible, some pets are anxious away from their families and I do what I can including exercise with mental and physical stimulation. I follow the feeding and care instructions that the parents would like and take the time to make sure they go potty after eating before leaving them inside.

Is the dog cat friendly? Human? dog? Are there any medical concerns? Breeds or dogs that are especially aggressive towards cats are not permitted. We have had bad experiences with Pit Bulls in our home, but I'd be happy to watch them at your place.
A typical day
There is a park close to my home and lots of grass available for play. If requested I would love to go on hikes on South Mountain or one the little hills in the area if the breed is able to handle it. I also have a small agility course for my dog in the backyard, if you have a working breed I can do some brain work and have them go through some parts.

Availability
I have 2-3 days off a week but do work long hours, usually from 9 am-8 pm at the grooming salon, when I am pet sitting I am happy to take friendly outgoing dogs to the shop with me where they have water, play mates, and a backyard in the cageless environment!
