About Pat

40 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Convenient to DFW airport, Six Flags, Cowboy Stadium!

We are celebrating three years on, and we love it!! My 16-year-old twin daughters are my helpers. I grew up on a farm in northwest Oklahoma and had the pleasure of being raised with many different types of animals. My girls, although raised "city girls" inherited a love for all things furry.

I am still home all day to love and care for your pet, but the girls have recently begun attending a local charter school after years of homeschooling. My girls are veterinary assistants-in-training. (It’s a five year program through 4-H.) We were drawn to the program because of our deep love of all animals and a desire to help care for them. Now we've discovered Rover and the girls can't believe they can make a little money in such a fun, easy way. :-)

My elderly mother recently moved in with me. She's an 88-year-old farmer's wife who has loved and cared for animals her entire life. The kids and I love having her here.... and so do our doggie guests who quickly learn that because Grandma is less active than other members of the household, she is a great snuggler, and that she has a treat jar always at her side. :-) Unfortunately, because Grandma gets around with a cane I have to be more particular about which dogs I care for in our home. LARGE, YOUNG, ENERGETIC dogs are no longer a good fit. *****

We have a couple of small dogs of our own. We are also volunteers with the Texas Ferret Lovers Rescue and normally have 3-4 ferrets (caged in their own room) who are here as permanent fosters because they're too old or sick to be adopted.

Our home is extremely pet friendly and pet safe.

We have a large backyard with privacy fence. For safety, one corner of the yard is fenced off as a dog run and separates dogs from the pool. Dogs are allowed the run of the entire yard only when I am outside to supervise. Our pool is also equipped with an alarm which goes off outside as well as in the house.

All animals in our care are given plenty of room to run and time to play, however, are never left outside for extended time in extreme heat, cold, or after dark.

We don't like crates or pens and seldom use them. We love your babies like our own.

We are experienced giving oral medication as well as injections.

We offer the following services from our home:
* Overnight boarding.
* Daycare
* Pick-up and drop-off service.
* Bathing and grooming.

REMEMBER, WE CAN ALSO COME TO YOU!! Some pets do better left in the comfort and familiarity of their own home with a pet sitter checking in on them throughout the day. Our rates start at $18 per 30 minute visit, depending on your location and number of pets. Ask me for details if this is something you might be interested in.
Our rates depends on location. Let's talk!

From your home we offer the following:
* Dog walking.
* Mid-day potty breaks for when you're working those long double shifts.
* Daily/twice daily check-ups while you're away.
* Plant care, mail brought in, etc. If we're there anyway, just ask and we can probably take care of it.

Pat accommodated a last minute request. She was very caring towards Winston and Gracie, and provided frequent updates during the stay. I have 100% confidence that Pat truly loves and cares for the pets entrusted to her.
Pat and her family do a great job of loving our dog.
My wife was very nervous leaving the dogs for the trip. We met Pat and both the house and her were both great. We dropped them off and everything went perfect. We will use her in the future.
