About Kayla

12 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
My name is Kayla Perry, I am happily married to a United States Marine and happier than ever to be a momma to my fur babies, Anubis (the husky) and Calypso (the cat). I have been a momma to a fur baby for over 10+ years now. In my employment history I have been a dog walker for my neighborhood, a puppy trainer for family and friends, a Veterinarian Assistant for my hometown, and a helping farm hand for my family's farm animals. I am a big animal lover, I have been since I was very young. I was recently medically discharged from the United States Marine Corps in June. Since then I have moved with my husband to North Carolina and started a crafting business that I work at from my home. My Apartment/Home is great for all animals, it has plenty of space and rooms for them to run around and play in; we even have our own dog park right next door! I walk my dog multiple times a day, during which we go to the dog park and play with toys, train him, and just run around. I have an extra crate for any dog that likes the comfort of a crate/kennel. When caring for animals I let them roam around and get comfortable in my home and let them do as they please. I don't have any stairs or slippery surfaces, tight spaces or holes where they could injure themselves so I know they will be just fine in my home! My heart is so big when it comes to animals and I know how to properly care for them and give them the love and attention they need! I know most animals need love, affection, attention, and a play mate, and I will do just that when caring for your animals!

Kayla absolutely loves animals. She has watched my dog many times and treats her like she is one of her own. She has a great compassion for animals and is very knowledgeable about them.

Kayla was extremely accommodating, both by scheduling a meet and greet and booking a stay with less than a week's notice. She was excited about my dogs staying with her and, when I went to pick them up, they didn't seem too eager to leave! Even though they were only with her for one night, she sent me tons of pictures and updates to let me know how they were doing, which is any dog parent's dream come true when leaving the babies behind. I would gladly book with her again in the future.
