About Trisha

15 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
About us:
When we moved to Alabama, our biggest concern was finding a home that our dog would love. In fact we chose this particular house for its yard. She LOVES to run and leap in our large shaded back yard on her fun dog "track" that she has created along the edges of the grass and between the trees and bushes. My husband and I are absolute dog (and other pets) lovers and our son Ezra is following in our footsteps. He adores anything with fur and slobber. Just a warning: We allow the dogs on our couches and beds, so they may come back behaving like they've been spoiled.

Why we decided to do this:
We know it's stressful finding the perfect place to leave your pet while you're away. Our pets are part of our family and they are treated as such. We promise to treat your family member the same as we do our own.

A Day in The Life:
Your dog will be spoiled and played with. They will go on walks in our beautiful neighborhood and will have many opportunities to enjoy our spacious and shaded fenced yard. Our Pup lives inside with us and we prefer to have yours in with us as well. We have two medium/large plastic dog crates if your dog prefers a smaller space to sleep, otherwise they will sleep wherever they want in our home.

Updates:
We hope to send picture/video updates while you are away so that you wont have to worry about how your fur-ball is doing.

Restrictions:
If your pet is larger than 55 lbs and you want them to come stay with us, please contact me and we can arrange a meet and greet to see if it is a good fit.

Trisha is AMAZING! We had never left our dogs with anyone besides family before and were very apprehensive about leaving them with "strangers." One of our dogs is a rescue and it takes him a while to warm up to people. Trisha was generous enough to invite our dogs over for a trial/meet and greet to make sure they would do alright... and of course they did great! She is wonderful about sending videos and updates as well. I did not worry about my dogs safety, well-being, happiness... anything at all while we were out of town for the weekend. She is very flexible with drop off and pick up times and you can tell she really loves your animals as much as you do! She treats them as if they were her own. The dogs were happy and healthy when we picked them up and we hope to let them stay with her family again!!

I was very pleased with the service my babies received. I enjoyed going on vacation with no worries . She treated my pets as if they were on her own. She even sent me pics of my pets.
We were new to the area and hesitant at first leaving our two fur babies with a stranger, but took a chance and we were really glad we did! Trisha was amazing with our dogs, she sent us videos and pictures and kept us updated as much as possible. Our dogs take a while to warm up to new people and a new environment but they adjusted very well. I was surprised how well they did because they are very spoiled, but I can tell they were treated very well at peppers playhouse. Your home is very dog friendly and I know my doggies will miss their new friend pepper and new dog sitter " Trisha". :)Thanks so much Trisha for treated our fur babies like your own and offering them love and kindness. We will definitely be seeing you again!

It was vacation time, but with it came that dreaded feeling of what to do with our dog. We couldn't have asked for a better experience for us or our 7 year old aussie, Wyatt, when we decided to book Wyatt's stay with Trisha. From the start, Trisha replied right away to all of my many questions. She was accommodating with our drop off and pick up times. Even allowing us to pick up on a holiday (Labor Day). Her house was everything described on the profile and more- spacious and full of love. We saw videos of our dog having a blast without us (gasp) and knew that it was just as much a fun vacay for him as it was for us. When we picked him up, he was relaxed and happy. Trisha went above and beyond sending us home with a sweet little note about what Wyatt got up to over the weekend and a dog bone cookie personalized with his name!!!! We will definitely book with Trisha again and would recommend Pepper's Playhouse Boarding & Daycare to anyone who loves their dogs! Thanks again to Trisha, Justin, Ezra and Pepper for loving our fur baby like your own. ~ Elise Barrows

Trisha was amazing! Trisha and her husband truly cared for our dog Lindy. Lindy got lots of attention and exercise, which at her age is really important. Trisha, thanks for being so flexible with my schedule! We'll definitely be back
Trisha and her family loved our Ellie like their own. And now Ellie has a new best fur-friend in Pepper. The meet and greet was so helpful in ensuring compatability. Trisha's dog knowledge is on point - she is able to correctly evaluate the dogs' behaviors when interacting for the first time. She outlined how the dogs' friendship would begin and shared step-by-step videos of that process (which was fun and comforting for us). We have found Ellie's home-away-from-home!

Trisha and her family were an amazing choice to take care of our pup while we went away for the weekend. We initially set up a meet & greet with her at a nearby park so that our dogs could get acquainted with each other. It was very convenient, and gave my husband and I a lot of confidence in leaving Kingsley with them because she was very open to any questions we had. After we dropped him off, she sent us a video within the first few hours and it was crazy to see how happy our dog looked and how comfortable he was. It really helped us to be able to relax and enjoy our mini-vacay. I truly believe that Kingsley was taken care of as well as we take care of him ourselves, with lots of love and pets. I would highly recommend Trisha as a sitter, and we will definitely be using her again if we go out of town.

Trisha and family did a wonderful job taking care of our little furry pals while we were away. She pampered them like they were her own and provided a fun, playful, safe and relaxed environment. She was very professional and courteous, and proactive in communicating with us at every stage. Sent frequent updates (one or more each day) with pictures of the dogs enjoying themselves with her family and dog Pepper. It's obvious that Trisha takes the business of dog sitting seriously, and that, combined with her and her family's love of dogs, makes her a first-rate dog sitter. We don't easily entrust our little doggies to many people, but Trisha has earned our trust and she will be our go-to sitter in the future.

5 stars is not enough for Trisha. Not only was she a wonderful sitter, but an overall amazing person. She kept me up to date with pictures and videos, and spoiled my dogs to no end. I was so worried about leaving them, but she eased my worries very quickly. She is one of the most genuine people I have met, and I would not only trust her with my dog but also my future babies. I don't know what I would have done if I had not found her!
