About Pam

15 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I live in Charles Village (Baltimore City) with my boyfriend and friend, in a large townhouse. We are all huge dog lovers! As an animal lover for my entire life, I have experience with dogs, horses, rodents, reptiles, and cats. I am allergic to cats, but not deathly, so would be able to do drop in care for your felines. I have had reptiles, rodents, fish, dogs, and horses as pets of my own, so am very experienced caring for those types of animals. In my home, animals are definitely more than pets, they are more like members of the family!

I have a lot of dog experience, with family pets, pet sitting throughout my entire life, and fostering/volunteering for bully rescues in the area. I attended 24 weeks of beginner and advanced obedience and agility classes with my dog, so I have a quite a bit of obedience experience. I also participate in a pack walk on the weekends with 2-20 dogs and their owners, where dogs get a chance to socialize in a structured and safe setting. If you were interested, I would be happy to bring your dog(s) along to these pack walks for a positive and supervised socialization experience.

My dog had spinal surgery a little over a year ago. We gained A LOT of experience with surgery recovery, rehab, medication administration (oral and injectable), and keeping a dog quiet but entertained during their recovery period. I would be happy to provide the same level of care for your special needs pets.

I do not have a yard, but we take at least two, 1-3 mile walks per day which provides our dog (or any dog with us) with plenty of exercise and opportunities to "do their business". All members of my household work full time, with a variety of hours, so dogs could be left alone for 8 hours at a time max on a work day. Though this listing reflects that I could take one dog at a time into my home for boarding, I would happily consider a bonded pair of dogs that already know each other.

We allow our dog on the furniture, but have boundaries for where he is allowed in the house. We would be happy to provide whatever rules and boundaries that you provide your own pet. We have gates and plenty of space to separate dogs if needed, but would otherwise slowly introduce your dog to ours for a harmonious friendship! My dog, Hendrix, is a great companion. He is dog friendly, and very tolerant of dogs of all types.

Please consider me for a dog sitter, walker, or companion for your animal family members!

a great experience as always.
Pam was a great host for Olive once again! We got some great pictures of her looking happy and having fun.
Olive had a great time with Hendrix! She got to play a lot and was very sleepy when we picked her up.

Pam sent us lots of great photos and updates throughout, and was very accommodating with our schedule.

It was a great place for Olive to stay, and we're very grateful for the excellent care she got.
