I grew up with Australian Shepherds including one who had cancer and kidney failure. To help her with her treatments, I worked with the vets to learn how to give in-home treatments of under-the-skin IV fluids along with oral medication. It was great to know that I could help her out at home instead of spending nights at the vets.
