About Kelli

20 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
We are a experienced home dedicated to Pets! We just moved here to Washington and love it. Why not leave your beloved friend with a veterinary technician who has a background in k9 behavior? Here at Pawsitive Pet Care, we believe that animals are individuals and we strive to produce the best environment possible to meet the specific needs of our guests. As a bonus to parents we offer free pick up and drop off for our regular daycare dogs.

We have been caring for animals in your home and ours for a over 15 years and have been fosters for many organizations over the years. Leave your pet with us so you can have a worry free trip and actually enjoy yourself knowing you buddy is in a loving and experienced home.
UPDATE....WE CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE FENCING. We are only able to take non flight risk dogs. We do have a functional 20x20 dog run, E fencing, tie downs, and trolley system if those are things you are comfortable with just let me know. We hope to have a fenced in dog yard by winter 2016.

My chocolate lab had a great time with Kelli, and so did I. I had to find a place for my dog at the last minute. He is unneutered, which means some places won't take him at all, and want to make a time consuming ordeal out of assessing him and blah blah blah. I am also very picky about the kind of oversight my dog is getting. Since he is being trained for service, I don't want him developing bad habits by letting him romp and play with other dogs unsupervised. Kelli came to the rescue on all fronts. She was very professional in getting right back to me, so booking with her was a breeze. She was extremely accommodating and within an hour, I had my problem solved. I was also pretty confident in her abilities from what I read about her background and the reviews. But this really gave me comfort: I wanted to drop my dog off on Friday morning. She said she couldn’t take him unless I brought him Th night, because she needed to be there during the acclimation process. I was so happy that she took this matter so seriously that she took him for an extra night without charge. She was very friendly when I met her, and sent me a bunch of pictures of my pup romping with others. I really enjoyed boarding my dog with Kelli, and would definitely put my dog in her care again.
The first time I have had to leave Layla overnight, and my emotions were stirring. I had many great phone conversations with Kelli prior and could tell, she was just like me....she is a dog owner and vet tech and KNOWS how the owner feels to leave their baby. When Layla and I arrived Kelli seemed to have an exact process to acclimate Layla into the home. After a few minutes of sniffing around, I quietly left with a little tear in my eye. Two hours later I got a text update that Layla was slowly acclimating. Four hours later I got a text that Layla was giving Kelli kisses and shortly after received 4 pictures of Layla in her backyard playing with the other dogs looking like she was having a ball. This made me feel so much better and I was able to let go and enjoy my free time.

I picked Layla up the next day and she seemed so excited, happy, picking up toys in Kelli's front yard. I got a nice sheet of paper with 4 color pics of Layla having a blast as well as some feedback re: her personality etc.

I will "hands down" be bringing Layla back to Kelli anytime I need to go out of town. Even though leaving our animals will always be emotional, I now know she will be in great hands!
