In our home the fur kids have never been referred to as our pets, or that they are just dogs. Each one we've had & currently have are family, which opened our hearts to a lot of caring emotions loaded with love, comfort, fun moments & protection because we truly want them to have a happy life.
My husband & I have been married for 23 years & during that time we have had three dogs, all Labradors/Lab Mix. Taylor & Chloe were our first fur kids who are frolicking at the Rainbow Bridge since Feb 2012 & Jan 2013.
Our girls were puppies when they came into our lives & both had a great life here at our home till the ages of 14 (Taylor) & 13 1/2 (Chloe) before it was time to say our painful goodbye's. There's a picture of them up next to our house pictures.
Grace is our current fur child, she's so smart & a sweet loving girl. It's easy to provide affection, love & playtime everyday. She was 3 months old when we met & instantly melted our hearts. Without any hesitation we said well cutie let's get you home!
Her Birthday is in July -

Becoming a Host with DogVacay.com & enjoying the opportunity to give more of my affection & great caring nature to other dogs was the best decision. I've provided care to many different breeds both big & small.
I've been a host since March of 2013 & during that time, I've had the pleasure of getting to know some great pet parents & their 4-legged fur kids. The friendships that I've gained with both the parents & the pets is so rewarding in many ways & I'm proud of the trust I've built with people & their fur kids.
My day's are full of happy smiles, playtime, brief photography sessions, wagging tails & an abundance of kisses.
I truly love the service that I provide & your dog will definitely let you know that statement is true. On their second & future trips here the excitement of coming down the street I live on & how they run up to my door is only a couple ways they'll let you know.
Thanks to all my fur friends for telling your parents how happy you are here. It means SO much to me.
Grace is always excited to see who's arriving to spend time with us. She likes to look out the window & barks when I tell her they'll be here soon.
Guest dogs are allowed up on the living room furniture because we want them to feel comfortable & allow them to be near us when we are relaxing. We just toss a blanket on the couch to help protect the fabric & all is good. They are even welcome on my bed too, as long as Grace has her spot ... we can make room. Some guests prefer to sleep in their own dog bed in the bedroom, that's ok too.
Toys are around, but feel free to bring your dog's favorite when you come to visit, as well as their food ..(special treats) .. instructions, bed, blanket/crate. Whatever comforts they have in your home can be met when they are with me with things they are familiar with.
Our home has a good sized enclosed backyard for security, potty breaks & playtimes. I like keeping it picked up during the day, stepping in a pile is no fun when the dogs are running & focused on playing. A treat jar sits on the kitchen counter & in the living room. It's funny how they always know where the snacks are. During the summertime, we bring out the kiddie pool so that the 4-legged friends can splash & cool off. They always love to try to retrieve a floating toy in the water.
