I live a mile from the beach in a very cozy and clean apartment. I'm walking distance from Bolsa Chica State Beach and a short car ride away from Arbor Dog Park. I'm small person so I probably won't have the man power to keep up with your Great Dane or Newfoundland. But all small and medium sized dogs are welcome!
I love, oh-so love dogs! I grew up with dogs since I was a little girl and will treat your very special furry buddy as my own very special furry buddy. I recently just adopted Loki, a handsome Korean Jindo. He loves meeting new friends (may they have feet or paws) and making me exercise with long walks.
I work from home so I'll be able to give your pooch paw massages, ear-rubs, and thoughtful conversations about the most recent Game of Thrones episode around the clock. As I mentioned before, I'm also conveniently located near Arbor Dog Park and Huntington Beach Dog Beach is only a short car ride away).
All dogs are different and have different needs so the care I'd give would be personalized as such. But here's what a typical day for your doggie at mi casa would be:
After we wake up, we'll go on a morning walk to stretch our limbs and so your pup can do a potty run. After breakfast and during the day, we'll hang in the apartment (that means snuggles, hair brushing, and belly rubs for our furry friend). Before dinner, we'll go for a run for 30-60 minutes because yay, exercise! If it's the weekend, we'll probably hit the dog beach a bit earlier and frolick in the waves together. After dinner, we'll turn on some Netflix and chill on the couch with some head rubs, and for bedtime, your dog can sleep on the bed, couch, wherever is best for them. And of course, throughout the day I'll send you photos of your beloved pooch. If you'd like to do a Google hangout or Skype video call, that's perfectly fine as well!
If you have a preferred schedule, specific rules, etc., I'll be sure to follow them so a stay at my home is similar to yours as much as possible.
Loki and I are very much looking forward to meeting you and your pup! ;)
