Hi! My name is Gina. I’m an over-all dog lover :) I grew up with 2 black mini poodles - Gracie & Cheecie - who are extremely active and excitable, and then a rescued Golden Retriever - Brody - who can see into your soul and loves to endlessly play catch, and I’m attune to the loyalty, affection, and energy that a healthy dog needs every day. Since I moved to the city I don't see my dogs as often and I miss that bond! I know what it's like to go away and feel anxious to leave your beloveds with a stranger...but have no fear! I'm a loving caretaker; here's some info about me: I currently work for the Peacekeeping Department at the UN, and I'm in the process of finishing my Master’s Degree in British/American Literature at Hunter College. I’m left-handed, my favorite color is blue, and I have a deep love for all-things-Shakespeare, spoon rings, yoga, and my two baby nieces. I live on York and 90th (adjacent to Carl Schwartz Park) which is the perfect spot to take long strolls filled with wind in the hair/fur, and also a relaxed, conducive scene to meet and greet other dogs. I’m an outdoor kinda gal…I love to play sports and go for long walks around the city (I consider myself a modern day Elizabeth Bennet really); I’m also a neat freak, a non-smoker, and an extreme supporter of a solid cuddle session. I have a one-bedroom apartment (elevator building) with a small balcony, and will walk your beloved at least twice a day (and will, naturally, text/email you photos of our daily excursions). My work hours are flexible, (and I’m a night owl), so I’m available for early morning and/or late evening walks also! I'm happy to watch your pooch in my apt overnight (just remember to bring their bed and favorite toy/lovie item)!
