Hi, I believe what you will find most reassuring about me is my intuitive sensitivity to what a pet is feeling. I stay tuned to my animals, and truly, if they are not happy, I am not happy. I have been a life long animal lover, owner, care giver, and foster home for far too many pets to recall. I love all animals and until recently had cats and birds living with my dogs as one big happy pack. Our mini schnauzer is off to grad school with our daughter so it's just my Shepherd now. She is very friendly and social. I do have one bird at home still, but she is kept in a separate part of the house.
I will be sensitive to any special requests you have and will do things with your dog as you would. I know it's important to reinforce any training they are undertaking so just let me know what they are studying at school and we will work on it together if you like.
I work out of my home so long walks on fair weather days or better are easily accommodated. I have a small yard but I am located centrally between a nice dog park and very nice greenway. It's about five minutes to either location.
I am very new here so until I have my first house guests/reviews, I will be very happy to provide references from my vets and friends, and friends I have made at the dog parks.
To this day I have not met an animal that did not leave paw prints on my heart. This is what I feel when I think back on all the happiness and adventures my pets and I have shared. And oh have there been some adventures!
I promise to add some happy adventures to your dog(s) vacay and some peace of mind to yours. And your pup is likely to have as many vacay photos as you come back with!
Thanks for stopping by!
**Note - I have listed breeds I will not host as a general rule, but am happy to consider all dogs on a case by case basis. Vet records are required and all dogs must be spayed or neutered.
