PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING PRIOR TO FIRST BOOKING REQUEST! I have attempted to answer all your questions and give you an accurate portrayal of the care your dog will receive while in our home. :-)
We have a very energetic 3 year old Fox Terrier mix who loves when other dogs come to play. **However, she doesn't always KNOW she will love the visit right away. She is "slow to warm-up" and is quite scared/defensive on many first meetings. For this reason, we REQUIRE a meet-and-greet at a neutral location (our local dog-park) to help facilitate the best "hello" we can. Typically, by the end of day 1 of the boarding...she is running around and having a GREAT time! She shares her favorite Minnie toy, wears them out in the 1/3 acre back yard, and offers her bedding! We love having an extra few sets of paws to both love on and to help entertain our furbaby. We will follow all instructions you give and treat as our own--which include a bit of spoiling! We go for walks and to the park on nice days, our yard is massive enough for a good run and game of fetch, we have dog beds and a crate, & Trixie uses a "doggie door" which is open all day!
We offer in home boarding and "doggie day care". It is our goal to help your pup feel as comfortable as possible when you are away. About half of the month, one of us is home all day and able to give 24/7 attention. The current availability I have listed is NOT for 24/7 attention. If this is something you are looking for, please contact me and I'll give you a more accurate availability calendar.
When boarding, no matter the supervision listed, please be aware there will times we may need to go to the store or otherwise leave the house. We will let you know if this occurs for more than 2 hours at a time. This is not common during 24/7 times. All dogs must be ok (no scratching floor or doors) in a confined area or in a crate and be house trained.
We will provide an exit bath free of charge with every 4+ night stay (when requested)!! We do NOT accept dogs that are not potty trained to go outside. Puppy pads have not proven reliable enough, sorry. Ask any question you have! Can't wait to give your furbaby a great DogVacay!
