About Paul

Hi, I'm Paul! I'm a senior at Pace University in the Financial District, double majoring in Communications and Film & Screen Studies. I'm pretty flexible with walking/feeding times and days, just ask me! :)

I've previously walked dogs for a summer job back in my home state of New Jersey and have walked a few here and there in the city. I'm unable to have a dog myself right now in my building, but I do have a pet rat named Georgio. I love walking around the city basically every day, so adding cute dogs practically would make it heaven.

I have experience with senior dogs, dogs that aren't house-trained and need special attention within and coming out of their apartment buildings, and have dealt with over-protective dogs who were very cautious of letting their owner leave without them. :)

I can do all from belly rubbings to an active walk or a fun game of fetch in the dog park. I also understand your dog's routine so I will completely follow whatever it is that they're used to!

I'm open to dog walking (including going to and from your apartment at no extra cost) in lower Manhattan, but can do the rest of Manhattan or Brooklyn with a pick-up and drop-off charge added. I can even do a custom rate depending on how close or far away you may be from me, so feel free to ask for other accommodations or any questions you may have.

Fifi really enjoyed Paul walking her. She isn’t house-trained since her health is poor, but I left a list on what to do in regards to a gate, picking her up so she wouldn't "go" in my apartment lobby, shutting her in her crate with a treat, etc., and he followed them all even though the list was a little extensive and even checked them off on the paper. Fifi is very shy but after a few minutes she warmed up to Paul even though she doesn't really like guys as much as she likes females but he was patient. He also kept to my routine/requests for her and did not let her accidentally soil my rugs as I have had that happen in the past with other sitters. He was also okay with my doggy-cam and was very friendly. I would use him again :)
