I grew up with pets as a constant in my life. Over the years my family owned dogs, cats, fish, and a parrot, and as an only child I spent much of my time caring for and playing with them. Since I left home for college I unfortunately haven't been able to live anywhere that's pet friendly, but I'm excited to bring animals back into my life! During high school I regularly pet sit for friends and neighbors when they went out of town, so learning to care for a pet in its own home where it's most comfortable is important to me. I've owned dogs of all sizes, from small lap dogs to large pit bull mixes, so size and breed are no issue for me. Dogs aside, I've also cared for neighbors' tortoises and pet rats; as long as your pet and I don't clash when we meet, I'm willing to do anything I can to keep them happy in your absence!
